"Heads, or tails?" A simple 50/50 chance, yet getting it right instills one with the feeling that they are on a 'hot streak', that surely they can keep predicting the flow of luck and the face of the coin. Surely the unlikely will happen, and a big win is within reach only if one keeps gambling.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a number of Living targets equal to your Charisma within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use a coin to activate this Effect. Roll Charisma + Thievery at Difficulty 6. Affected targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6 -3 dice.
If you succeed, for the next hour, affected targets will do things they otherwise wouldn’t have done, inspired by hubris. They will not necessarily display their emotions in an obvious way.
Actions they take will be in keeping with their character and the way they tend to deal with strong emotions. They will be unlikely to change their mind about any actions taken or decisions made until after the Effect ends.
When your target interacts with any valid target, they must roll Self-Control or be swept up in the same emotion. New targets pass it on as well, and so on, with the remaining duration decreasing by half until the chain stops.
Dieing, to someone who is already obsessed with death, becomes a learning experience. To Widow, she learned the limitations of the human form when the spirit has so much more potential for maneuverability. The aimed to perfect this concept when she returned from death.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your Dexterity rating is increased by 3. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Dexterity (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
You also gain the following effects:
The user has the form of a bipedal multi-limbed wolfoid machine construct with a stance, gait and build similar to a large werewolf, the primary set of arms end in hands with massive claw-like blades and the secondary set of notably smaller and weaker arms are completely dedicated to object manipulation. There is a small low-power lightning gun mounted in the mouth intended for disabling targets at short range.
This frame has some minor modularity to it and may accept some small, temporary modifications to it.
The Mars class warhound was designed to rapidly close distance and engage targets in melee combat yet still possess some combat capability at close to short range, their greatest defence was their speed and ability to evade attacks unlike their much larger and slower Jupiter class counterparts. A common tactic of the Mars warhound was to attack in groups of two or more, some disabling the target while the others attacked relentlessly.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You are permanently and visibly transformed: Machine warhound. You are considered to be a Sapient, Non-Living Computer when targeted..
Your Injuries no longer degrade with time.
You may make a +2 Weapon Damage Rending claws (Great sword) and Shock maw (Handgun) attack without additional equipment.
You cannot ignore or decrease the effects of Stress for any social rolls you make.
You cannot be mistaken for a normal human. You cannot always use standard human clothes, equipment, vehicles, and facilities, and when you can, you suffer an increased Difficulty.
Kanni's body overcharges with electricity, magnetizing anything metallic nearby to attach to her, forming into a giant mecha version of herself with help from slight nanite manipulation.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must use up a pair of AA Batteries in order to activate this Effect. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma.
You transform into A mecha version of herself for two hours or until you choose to end the Effect. See the Extended System text for stats.
While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (excluding Artifacts and Consumables, which you can use), but you can use your Powers. Any equipment you are wearing transforms with you.
Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.
While transformed, you are obviously unusual, unnatural, or alien, and the average person will take a special interest in you.
The Werebearss body, long caught in the crossfire between human and beast, has developed a powerful coping mechanism. It draws upon the conflict, healing severe injuries in a matter of days.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Any Injury you receive from a source other than silver or fire. heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level every 6 hours. Any Injuries you receive while this Effect is active automatically count as a successful Proper Stabilization and do not deteriorate further. Any Battle Scars caused by such an Injury will heal with the Injury.
You may Exert your Mind and spend an Action to reduce the Severity of one of your Injuries by 2. Does not affect Injuries suffered as an activation cost for Effects.
You may choose to heal any Battle Scar on yourself that is not caused by an Injury. Recovery takes one day, and the Battle Scar affects you fully until that time.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Fire.
Injuries you receive from silver or fire. are increased in Severity by 1.
With the clap of Mort's hands, "Chuckles" crawls out of the ground. His paint is smeared with gore, his innards leaking ever so slightly out of his multi-colored waistcoat. He's capable of slight speech, although all you'll get out of him is bad jokes.
Chuckles acts completely separately to Mort and therefore cannot take commands from him unless he makes a Cha+Influence roll (Difficulty 8). Every 30 minutes he is active, Chuckles must attack somebody. He prefers to target civilians over the supernatural, they apparently "taste funny". He cannot be dissuaded from attacking a person, a Cha+Inf roll can be made to try to convince him to switch targets though.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
Summon a single Chuckles The Maneater at your location. They will last for two hours, or until they are destroyed. They are controlled by the GM and will not necessarily obey your commands. You may have at most 1 minion active at a time.
The Thief has a stash in which they can store a few objects. It can be accessed through any burlap sack.
Spend a Quick Action. You must actively and obviously use a burlap sack to activate this Effect.
You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may only stash targets which are in your possession, grappled, or otherwise controlled by you.
You may store Objects in your stash, each no larger than something which could fit inside a briefcase (15 liters), and you may store up to 3 things at a time.
You may choose to equip any equipment you withdraw at no additional cost.
All it takes is a flick of your hair and a bat of your eyelashes, and you’ve got their attention.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. All Sapient, Living targets within 50 feet who can perceive you through sight are affected. Roll Charisma + Performance at Difficulty 6. All affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the targets will keep their full attention focused on you for contested Outcome in Rounds. They will automatically fail any rolls related to noticing anything other than you. If they cannot perceive you through sight for three Rounds, the Effect is broken. The Effect ends early if the target is Injured or violence occurs nearby.
This does not affect the target’s opinion of you or their mood, and they may take any Actions while affected (including attacking), as long as that action centers on you. Fascinated targets cannot Concentrate.
Years of scouting in dangerous areas has left the survivalist hyper-vigilant. They are impossible to catch in a trap.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a non-Sapient, Animate target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is undead.
For the next day, you may issue specific commands to your target which they will be compelled to follow.
Your commands must be relatively simple and within the target’s intellectual grasp. You cannot make them obviously endanger themselves or violate their instinct for self-preservation. The effects of the command will fade after a day has passed.
Sapient targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
Who wouldn't want one of the mad scientist's famous implants? All it takes is a little time and a few terrifying experiments, and you too could be a better you!
Warning: not fully tested on humans. Risk of dry mouth, upset stomach, or lost limbs. Do not consult your doctor before signing the liability release.
Exert your Mind and spend eight hours. Select a Living or Animate target within arm's reach. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you cause a major Battle Scar instead of an augmentation. Your target must make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. The target can easily Resist.
You may add one augmentation to your target. Each augmentation counts as a Battle Scar and can have exactly one of the following Effects:
The augmentations you provide are not outwardly visible nor obvious.
