Being incredibly capable with the gladiatorial weapons of your time, you know all the best techniques for killing, disarming, or defending yourself as quick as possible. Because if you didn't? You'd find yourself derezzed in a milisec flat.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with Hardlight Blades.
+2 dice to all rolls with Hardlight Blades. You may Defend against firearm attacks from any range using Hardlight Blades.
You also gain the following effects:
- Finesse: You may limit the Severity of any Injury you inflict or determine a maximum Wound Level to inflict on the target, including Incapacitated. You may also choose to make this Injury properly or improperly stabilized, or to keep it unstabilized.
- Quick Draw: You may draw and equip yourself with any melee weapon on your person or within arm’s reach as a Free Action, as long as it is not being wielded by someone else.

The Sons of Salem is a loosely-organized conservative populist movement in the United States that preaches violent opposition to anything they perceive as witchcraft, demonic, or monstrous.
Blowhard podcaster Ted Gundy and former general of the mercenary group “Hognose,” Roland Rush, founded the movement in 2010 after a series of violent werewolf attacks and unexplained, supernatural murders in Tennessee. Memberships grew quickly, stoked by Ted’s fiery doomsday rhetoric on his podcast "Truth Seekers" and the aspiration of the masculine power embodied by Roland.
Although they speak of duty, honor, and maintaining the “natural order” of things, the Sons of Salem are driven by fear. They collect guns and appear at protests en-masse as a way of easing the all-consuming terror of their powerlessness. At the same time, they have conditioned themselves to respond to fear with “strength” (read: violence).

- Riposte: If you successfully Defend against a melee or unarmed attack, you deal damage equal to your excess Outcome plus Weapon Damage back to your attacker.
- Two Swords are better than One: If you are wielding more than one melee weapon, you may Attack with all using the highest Weapon Damage, plus 1 for each additional weapon. If you reserve a weapon, any Clash or Defend roll you make is -1 Difficulty, and mob penalties are ingored.
- Whirlwind: You may Exert your Mind to apply your next attack to any number of targets who are within melee range.
Duma's Blessing
The swordsmanship of heroes of tale. Not as pompous, though.
A prosthetic finger made out of pure, cast metal. Looks way too old to even move, impossibly so. The application seems to have been painful, as the skin hugs around the metallic prosthetic.
Alexandre Duma's works not only are revolutionary for their period, but they stand the test of time nowadays. Julio used to imagine, during multiple daydreaming sessions, that he could one day be a knight, too, and protect his loved one with his might alone.

- Point Control: Called Shots that you attempt only require a Contested Outcome of 2 for small targets and 4 for tiny targets.
- Finesse: You may limit the Severity of any Injury you inflict or determine a maximum Wound Level to inflict on the target, including Incapacitated. You may also choose to make this Injury properly or improperly stabilized, or to keep it unstabilized.
The Butcher of Bakersfield
They say sharp knives are less dangerous because you need to use less force to slice through the meat, but it's only less dangerous to the one wielding the knife.
Years of practice on cows and pigs have taught Brioche how to effectively chop all the way through the meat and bone in one swift strike.

Although nothings likes supernatural, a careful eye can spot just how good Yuri is with a sword. From the way he moves to the way he swings at a target it all screams like he is an expert with the sword.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with Swords.
+2 dice to all rolls with Swords. You may Defend against firearm attacks from any range using Swords.
You also gain the following effects:
- Fancy Footwork: You may move your full Dash distance and attack in the same Round without penalty. You may also split your movement before and after your attack.
- Sheathing the Sword: When you would Clash with an opponent, before the dice are rolled, you may opt to have both sides deal full damage. If you do, your attack roll is at -2 Difficulty.
- Reminder: Bonus Damage stacks with Weapon Damage, but does not stack with any other Bonus Damage. Instead, the highest Bonus Damage is used.

If you would successfully incapacitate a target, you may opt to knock them out for one hour instead of having them suffer an Injury.
- Quick Draw: You may draw and equip yourself with any melee weapon on your person or within arm’s reach as a Free Action, as long as it is not being wielded by someone else.

The ninja is a master of a wide variety of martial weapons. They kill quickly and quietly.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with melee ninja weapons.
+2 dice to all rolls with melee ninja weapons. You may Defend against firearm attacks from any range using melee ninja weapons.
You also gain the following effects:
- Assassin: If your attack Injures your target, they cannot make a sound, even incidentally, for a single Round. Even the sound of their body and equipment dropping to the ground is silenced.
- Falling Crane Strike: If you move and then make a successful attack against a target closer than the full distance you could have moved, you may choose to travel the excess movement in a straight line beyond the target.
