Description
Grace wants to protect herself. So the girls think... what is the worst pain either of them have endured? What physically killed The Spirit? Flames lick at the edge of their shared memory, and now theyโre at your feet, too. Fire in the same transparency as The Spirit burns the target for one round, and they feel a slight pressure around their wrists and abdomen, like crude, scratching rope. Defense roll: Brawn to resist the heat, plus occult to realize the flames arenโt quite real and be able to ignore them.
System
Spend an Action, Exert your Mind, choose a target within 45 feet, and roll Intellect + Occult Difficulty 6. The target may defend by rolling Mind, Difficulty 6 as a Free Action.
Damage dealt equals the difference between your attack roll's Outcome and the defensive roll's (if one was made), plus 3.The target's Armor is Fully Effective.
Enhancements
- Cantrip (Activating this Effect has no Exertion cost, but it can have no more than 3 Drawbacks and its Gift Cost can never be increased above 2.)
Drawbacks
- Traumatic (You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma.)
