- Me, an Empath: You have an intuitive understanding of the emotional state of any Animate being within 30 feet. Once per person per day you may roll Charisma + Influence to learn what things they respect or disrespect in others.
- On its own, your empath abilities do not allow you to detect lies.

CryptoLeak: Silence is Broken
CryptoLeak is a video streaming platform with a singular goal: to allow users to upload and share video content, no matter what. Videos uploaded to cryptoleak cannot be removed, doctored, or censored.
Despite a near-universal condemnation by world leaders, most people greatly appreciate CryptoLeak. It's the go-to platform for posting illuminations, whistleblowing evidence, and data leaks.
CryptoLeak is a mundane technlogical entity that cannot be controlled or destroyed. It has no backing business or organization. It utilizes a distributed architecture that allows it to host content across the entire world, sharding and mirroring its petabytes of data accross millions of personal devices. Content uploaded to CryptoLeak is immutable and cannot be doctored or redacted by any known means.
For once, technology has put the power in the hands of the little guys.
World governments and other powerful organizations can still censor or restrict access to CryptoLeak within their domains, and they sometimes utilize the platform for misinformation and psy-ops campaigns. However, for most people, CryptoLeak represents the freedom to speak and be heard.
Of course, simply uploading a video does not gaurentee it will be seen or gain traction, nor does it protect you from any consequences that may come along with pulling back the veil. . .

The contractor's noticeability increases, which makes sneaking around harder. However, they can easily play the role of a distraction or charm their way into possibly learning secrets or getting into private functions. The flashy smile puts those at ease.
For Troy, this means that people recognize him from his YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram. Maybe he gets approached by fans; young adults know of him (mostly in bigger cities with influencer crowds (like NYC or LA)); older persons, mostly those with kids, have heard of him or recognize his voice. His smile is charming, he has a trustworthy face, why would anyone assume he's a bad person?
You gain the following benefits at all times.

- Poker Face: You reveal only what you want to reveal. It is impossible to determine whether or not you are lying. You may roll Charisma + Performance to resist any investigative Effect that targets you. If you successfully resist, you determine the info they get.
- The Price Of Fame: Any sightings or recordings of your activity can easily be traced back to you. Even when disguised or using an alias, people always get a Perception check to recognize you.
- A "social gathering" might include a birthday party, after-work drinks, a ski trip, or yoga in the park, among other things. It likely would not include a cult gathering to summon a demon, Congressional negotiations over a contentious bill, etc.
- In rare cases, GMs may require you to make a roll to lie to particularly powerful beings.
- Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

From putting his workers on the line and to his commandeering attitude he is still a charming fellow in some manner, demanding his name to be called, he is to be called the devil in a manner as the way of how sly he may be but how ruthless he is to his employees, all marked down by the tattoo on his back to represent it all.
You gain the following benefits as long as you have your An Oni tattoo on the back.

If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.
You also gain the following effects:
- Call me Senpai: You may ask to be called by a specific title. Sapient beings will use this title when addressing you, unless they Exert their Mind to resist for the day. You may use an Influence Effect on anyone who uses your title without Exerting your Mind. One free activation per individual per day.
- If your An Oni tattoo on the back is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months, or until you can recover any relevant missing items (which may involve a side-game and requires a GM to approve whatever process is used).

A profound and unbreakable bond ensued as he connected with this artifact, to the point where he became inseparably fused with it. This remarkable connection, over time, seamlessly integrated the Scar into his very chest, resulting in an extraordinary transformation. What once appeared to be a peculiar metallic imprint bore an uncanny resemblance to an intricate and otherworldly tattoo. To a casual observer, John might have struck an impression as a devoted adherent to some mystical faith. However, upon closer scrutiny, the observer would experience a profound and unsettling sensation, akin to encountering an enigma that defied conventional explanation.
The necklace/scar exerts a profound influence on John's mind. Whenever he can't unequivocally confirm its presence, a potent cocktail of panic and fear engulfs him. This goes beyond the mere sensation of its weight against his chest. If he can't currently see its luminous metallic luster, feel the warmth radiating through his hand, observe the subtle yet undeniable impact it has on those nearby, or hear the faint sizzle of its utilization, he finds himself ensnared in a paralyzing web of uncertainty. It's akin to a Schrödinger's Cat scenario, teetering on the brink of existential dread, desperately gasping for confirmation through every available sense.
