Edward craves the ability to communicate and understand others. The Freedom that comes with expressing your opinions and listening to the ideas to others is something that does not come naturally to him. He is Amending that flaw, making him more Free to express himself.

You may understand and communicate to Creatures, humans, and Sapient beings as if you are fluent in a relevant language for the next hour.

Whenever you encounter a Language you could commune in with this Effect, you immediately understand which language it is, the dialect, region, and other details about it.

Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see your mouth filled to the brim with razor sharp fangs.

  • The target of "human" refers to any target that speaks a human language.
  • When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.

This also includes understanding any recorded communications from the relevant targets, including writings, scent trails, etc.

Communicating with a being cannot directly damage your Mind or cause Injury. All rolls to resist Effects that rely on communicating with you are made at -1 Difficulty.

This also includes understanding any recorded communications from the relevant targets, including writings, scent trails, etc.

Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Lost Tentacle: In the binding of such a beast and his severed limb, so too did come the ability to whisper into the mind of man.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Wrath of the Sea: If a land-dweller disrespects a creature of the sea, you must roll Self-Control or attempt to take vengeance.
