When an attack is directed at someone under the effects of Bent Fate, things just come up in their way enough to turn major injuries into minor ones, and cause minor ones to simply whizz by them due to a convenient stumble or a gust of wind.

The trickers of mythology always seem to be able to make it safely out of their scrapes. Something is looking out for them, and the gods are not pleased about that.
