The Thief casts a container's worth of fine spice into the air. The particulates are drawn to any sort of object that is designed to detect people, including tripwires, security cameras, detection lasers, heat sensors, etc. The powder will not trigger these devices or interfere with their operation, but it does reveal their presence to the Thief.

The cloud drifts and swirls, subtly following the Thief for a minute.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

You automatically detect all objects that are designed to detect people, including tripwires, security cameras, detection lasers, heat sensors, etc within 50 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. When you detect objects, instead of learning nothing about them, you may observe each object with all of your senses.

Even if there are no objects that are designed to detect people, including tripwires, security cameras, detection lasers, heat sensors, etc within 50 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

You may only use this Effect once per day.

You automatically detect all books within 300 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. You do not learn any details about the detected items.

  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: throwing the card around, flipping it through the fingers as phantom whispers "cmon baby, show me my fortune today~". You must actively and obviously use Card to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

You automatically detect all Surveillance Devices within 300 feet of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. When you detect objects, instead of learning nothing about them, you may observe each object with all of your senses.

If no Surveillance Devices targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Leon must lay down fully and place the artifact under his head as he clasps the artifact between his hands and attempts to enter a lucid dreaming state for even just a moment.. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma.

You automatically detect all Mystical Objects and Spatial Disturbances (Portals, people's effect on the world when they teleport, spirit realm rifts, etc) within 10 miles of you for the next hour. You have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected items. When you detect objects, instead of learning nothing about them, you may observe each object with all of your senses.

The means by which any Mystical Objects and Spatial Disturbances (Portals, people's effect on the world when they teleport, spirit realm rifts, etc) are hidden or disguised is made clear to you, as well as how to access them if they are secured. This includes objects secured via the Stash Effect.

After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.

To effectively remove weapons you need to know where they are. The user of this artifact will be able to see through solid matter to find weapons.

Others near you may choose to observe what you are perceiving by engaging in physical contact.

You may perceive through up to 15 feet of material. The Difficulty of all Perception rolls made through a wall are increased by 1 per wall.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
