Kee's body has been trained to a certain extent, allowing her to shoot with more accuracy with space weaponry and normal weaponry.
You gain the following benefits as long as engaged in combat with firearms.
+2 dice to all firearms rolls.
You also gain the following effects:
The caster envelopes themself in a thin veil of bluish-silver smoke before quickly vanishing from their current location and swiftly reappearing somewhere else.
A fairly simple teleportation spell. Can be improved with a variety of different effects by experienced mages.
"Teleportation still makes me queasy. I need to get used to that."
Spend an Action. Select a Location which is at most 75 feet away horizontally or 15 feet away vertically.
You jump to the chosen location. If the landing is precarious, the GM may call for a roll to land safely. You will never take fall damage from successfully landing a jump made with this Effect.
Instead of physically passing through the air, you are teleported directly to your destination. Does not allow you to go through walls, cages, or grapples.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Torn ACL.
There are few visual cues; however, the target gets a cold, uneasy feeling like they are being watched. The feeling is of something angry at them and themselves. Almost shameful. Meanwhile, the closest duelling pistol or smoothbore flintlock will unlatch or float from wherever it is and start moving toward the target at supernatural speed. Charging and holding the gun, a ghost-like figure will flicker in and out, looking like a slender, frail woman. She looks like a woman of solid noble heritage. She will rush forward until she gets right in front of you. She will put a traditional duelling pistol against the chest right in front of the target's heart before firing.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Living target within 45 feet. You must actively and obviously use Model Dueling Pistol or other Smooth Bore Pistol to activate this Effect. Roll Charisma + Influence Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling Body, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4. Armor is fully effective against this Damage.
The target suffers a -3 dice penalty for the next hour or until the Injury is healed. This dice penalty does not stack multiple times on the same target.
If the target takes damage from this Effect, they will receive at least a Minor Battle Scar regardless of the Severity of their Injury. The specifics of the scar are up to GM's discretion.
The user shouts out "Rabharta" and an a circle with a radius of 60ft appears in the target area. Transparent clouds fill an area of a dome, and begin to pour down rain.
Born of a desire for clean water, the power summons rain in a dome. It's important the word "Rabharta" be pronounced via the Ulster pronunciation, otherwise the power will not activate. The water is pure, and can be drank in a pinch.
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action. Select a Location within 60 feet of you.
You create a hemispherical dome of Rain originating at the chosen Location, with a radius of 60 feet, and lasting for 5 minutes. The area inside your zone is affected in the following ways:
As Idris activates the power a red energy begins to take hold around his Greatsword as he slams it into the earth cause cracks to form around the impact site as the red energy begins to spread out and form a dome roughly 15-feet around him, blocking all objects and entities from entering.
If either an Object or Entity attempts to enter the dome they are stopped, and those who attack the dome seems to cause the energy to strike back at them causing damage.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use Greatsword to activate this Effect. Roll Brawn + Melee at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a Barrier extending out 15 feet from yourself, which absorbs 2 times the next Outcome + 4 Damage. Only applies to attacks which originated outside the 15 foot radius, and protects anyone who is within that radius. You may choose to create a bubble barrier. If you do, no physical objects or entities can pass into your bubble until the barrier is broken, but you and the barrier cannot move. Any Damage absorbed by the barrier is reflected back to the attacker, up to a maximum of the Barrier Strength Parameter’s bonus. Their Armor applies in full. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
You may only use this Effect once per day.
The cloak operates on a sophisticated blend of optics and adaptive camouflage. Activated by a discreet touch-sensitive panel embedded in the cuff, the Sun Dial Cloak transforms its surface to mimic the surrounding environment with uncanny precision
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
You are obscured in one of the following manners. Lasts 30 minutes.
While this Effect is active, any Effect that would obscure you from other, additional senses fails automatically. If someone discovers you, this Effect will not help you hide from them for the next minute. This Effect does not end early when you activate an obvious Effect, attack, or receive an Injury.
You may turn this Effect on and off at will during its duration.
The mobster presents a reasoned, logical case to the target: there's a lot of dangerous folks out there, and only they can offer safety... for a price.
If they agree, they will pay the mobster a monthly fee for protection. If they stop making their payments... well, let's just say, the mobster can't be held responsible for any unsavory types that might pay them a visit.
This Effect cannot be used unless you are making a deal to exchange money for protection.
You may make an oath with a physically-present, Sapient target. Communicate the oath's terms to the target, including the requirements and penalties for each participant. If all agree to the terms, you must Exert your Mind and all participants must shake hands to seal the deal.
Record the oath as a Condition. If a party breaks the oath, the Condition ends and they suffer the oath's penalty.
When crafting your oath, you may incorporate any of the following penalties:
The target cannot be compelled to agree via a direct threat of violence, another Effect, or another oath. If you would like to use clever wording to mislead the target, you must succeed a contested Intellect + (Culture or Influence) roll.
The beastmaster closes their eyes and channels nature's bloody struggle for survival. When their eyes reopen, they catch the light and glow red like a dog's. While in this heightened state, they may sense heat signatures and triangulate the tiniest sound.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
Your senses are enhanced in the following way. Lasts for three hours.
This witch is a cruel and vengeful creature who works her vile arts against those she deems worthy of punishment. All she must do is point. A flash of green lightning strikes her victim and disappears. Immediately, or upon the completion of some condition, if the witch chooses, the victim's body warps and shifts into a gross mockery of its former self. Whether she's giving someone the head of a donkey or stealing their voice, the witch's enemies always get what is coming to them.
The sheer wickedness of this spell corrupts the witch, giving her a disgusting, witchy appearance.
Exert your Mind and Spend an Action. Select a Living target within 20 feet. Roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6. The target may roll Body, -2 dice at Difficulty 7, as a Free Action to resist.
If you succeed, the target receives a new Battle Scar of your choosing, limited by the contested Outcome:
When you activate this Effect, instead of occurring immediately, you may choose to delay its effects until the target takes a particular Action. For example: "when they fire a gun" or "when they swim in deep water."
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Witchy Appearance. You have a long, warty nose and chin, wrinkled skin, and a hunch back. Social rolls are at +2 Difficulty, and your free movement is reduced by 10 feet.
Your alteration "heals" over the course of the next month, after which it is fully cured.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Compulsion for payback. You must roll Self-Control to avoid using this Gift on anyone who wrongs you in a major way.
Who wouldn't want one of the mad scientist's famous implants? All it takes is a little time and a few terrifying experiments, and you too could be a better you!
Warning: not fully tested on humans. Risk of dry mouth, upset stomach, or lost limbs. Do not consult your doctor before signing the liability release.
Exert your Mind and spend eight hours. Select a Living or Animate target within arm's reach. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you cause a major Battle Scar instead of an augmentation. Your target must make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. The target can easily Resist.
You may add one augmentation to your target. Each augmentation counts as a Battle Scar and can have exactly one of the following Effects:
The augmentations you provide are not outwardly visible nor obvious.
The detective has trained their eyes to notice the smallest of details.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your senses are enhanced in the following way.
