Trav begins to panic and look around franticly, he then pulls out a small, crumpled piece of paper that he has written something on. If anyone looks closely the paper is an affirmation to himself that he is the one who decides his future. After reading the paper again he seems to calm down. At this point in time a soldier seems to appear behind him holding a rifle and levels it. Trav then starts to scream for help before he is silenced by 5 rounds piercing his skull fires. The paper slowly flutters to the floor and is stained with blood. If anyone looks closely the soldier is wearing a dog tag with only the name Trav Brown legible anymore. After a period of time the soldier appears to be riddled with bullets with blood gushing out of his body before falling face first on the ground the blood beginning to pool around the body as the body continues to bleed the sounds of a child crying can be heard and another look at the body reveals Trav curled up and crying.
When Trav sleeps he doesn't have normal dreams, He is instead put in the body of a future version of himself, that person being a soldier who was drafted when war a broke out, that soldier through much bloodshed grew to enjoy killing even taking pride in the number of people killed, taking their fear as a complement. After his first contract this nightmare has gained power over Trav and con now take physical form. Trav calls this person the Monster as an attempt to separate himself from this thing he could become
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend a Quick Action. You must use up A written note confirming that he is in control in order to activate this Effect.
You transform into a Soldier for 30 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are a Soldier, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. Reverting from your Alternate Form cannot cause your existing Injuries to kill you. Instead, you remain Incapacitated.
While transformed, your Dexterity is increased by 2 and your Perception is increased by 2. You do not suffer any Stress while transformed.
While transformed, instead of your normal clothes and equipment, you are equipped with: Flak Jacket + Helmet, Rifle, 1 grenade, 1 flashbang, 1 knife, 10 magazines
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see A child is shot through the back of the head.
Whenever you enter Combat, roll Self-Control. If you fail, you cannot choose which targets to attack and cannot stop fighting until there are no targets remaining.
The tip of the bolt crackles with potential, eager to accept your modifications. With the crack of the drawstring, the spark fuses them both, and guides your shot to its intended target like the opposing poles of a magnet.
You gain the following benefits as long as engaged in combat with crossbows.
You receive +2 dice to all rolls using crossbows. Reloading is considered a Free Action.
You also gain the following effects:
Elvis spins around and poses, looking at the mirror and pouting. They comb their hair and wink at themselves; their external visage changing to what they ought to be. It's just another acting gig, right?
Spend a minute. You must actively and obviously use a reflective surface (Mirror) to activate this Effect.
You become disguised in a manner of your choosing. The disguise lasts for two hours, or you may end it early at will. Your disguise will not hold up to close scrutiny.

You may roll Charisma + Crafts to attempt to make your disguise Beautiful. If your Outcome is 6 or higher, non-Effect Charisma rolls where your good looks could help are rolled at -2 Difficulty. If you fail or botch, you are ugly instead, and non-Effect Charisma rolls are made at +2 Difficulty.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
This Effect ends if you take an Injury or are stunned or incapacitated.
Kanni puts a hand on the target, nanites swarming out from it as she begins to work on their body, harvesting, tearing and destroying it internally.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Sapient target within arm's reach. When you Activate this Effect, roll a single d10. If the result is 5 or lower, your target receives a Minor Battle Scar. Your target may Resist to cancel the transfer.
You may choose one each of as many things as you like from the following to transfer from your target to yourself, or from yourself to them:
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see Kanni's hand spewing out nanites which rip and tear at the target, harvesting assimilating them into her..

Cole passes his hand over the face of a timepiece, gathering golden energy from it around his hand that forms into golden arcane symbols, before launching forward red-tinted wavering threads of energy that can pass through a single target or pierce out in a line through several. This is not only damaging physically, but the overwhelming sensory input is agonizing. He can use this offensively to strike at threats or defensively, withering the substance or energy of an incoming attack by dragging it through years on its way to him
This is the result of Cole's first clumsy attempts to unlock his scientific knowledge of time using arcane means. Rather than his goal of moving targets through time, his inability to let go of a local frame of reference causes him to push a rapid flow of time through the target. Perhaps as he accumulates gifts, he will gain more fine control.
Spend an Action. Select a target within 50 feet. You must actively and obviously use a timepiece (wristwatch, pocketwatch or similar) to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Science Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling Body, Difficulty 6.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 2.
You may use this Effect to Defend against any melee, projectile, or firearm Attacks within range or Clash against any Attack targeted at you. Using it to Defend deals no Damage but does not cost Exertion.
You may choose to have this Effect Damage all targets in a perfectly straight line up to its maximum range.
The target suffers a -3 dice penalty for the next hour or until the Injury is healed. This dice penalty does not stack multiple times on the same target.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.
Instead of dealing Damage all at once, the Injury caused by this Power starts at Severity 1 and worsens at the rate of one level per Round until it reaches the Severity it would have otherwise been.
Dominic's war with the Illuminati continues, and now they've begun taking his stuff! They think he doesn't know, but his most treasured items without fail have a secret broadcasting unit keyed to a chip inside his brain that constantly tells him where they *really* are. Then with a little digging, once he's found the location, he extracts it with a glorious shout knowing that he has triumphed over the deep state yet again!
What Dominic does not know is that in his delusion the chip he developed actually stores things inside digital space, uploading them at just a touch, an innovation that could change the world if he wasn't so insane. While they're non-physical all it takes is for him to activate the chip again by triggering the delusion again to find the item.
Spend a Quick Action. You must actively and obviously use A container to activate this Effect.
You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may only stash targets which are in your possession, grappled, or otherwise controlled by you.

The musician pours their heart and soul into their music, giving others some much needed perspective and solace and all around good vibes. This can be a temporary easing of the mind, but with prolonged music therapy it can even permanently cure psychic damage.
Exert your Mind to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You cannot target yourself. This Effect cannot be used unless you continuously play music for your target during the activation. Over the course of one Downtime, your patient must communicate with you and reveal at least one of their Traumas to you, including the details of those Traumas and the circumstances of how they were acquired. After the full treatment time has elapsed, roll Charisma + Performance at Difficulty 6.
Your target may Resist. If your treatment is successful, you may remove one of the patient's revealed Traumas without incurring any Experience cost.
Once per day per target, you may choose to use this Effect to stabilize the Mind of a target within arm's reach. Treatment takes 30 seconds but will not remove any Traumas. If you are successful, restore 2 Mind damage.
You may choose to use this Effect to temporarily relieve any number of the patient's Traumas (including mental Conditions). In this case, Treatment takes an Action and the effect lasts two hours. If the Patient is currently experiencing an episode, Difficulty is increased by 2.
The toon shouts a catchphrase, strikes a pose, and then zips away at a high speed, leaving a cloud of dust behind. While moving, they look like a blur.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
Whenever you use your Movement, after all other calculations, the distance you may travel is doubled.
The Toon performs some sort of cartoonish act of violence. This may be handing someone a bomb, hitting someone with a cartoon mallet, burping a burp that is so noxious it melts flesh, or anything else as long as it is cartoonish.
The attack is more of a throwaway gag than a plot element, so any props or properties of the attack are incidental and disappear immediately. Animated mallets evaporate in a puff of smoke, fire does not spread, and electricity cannot power devices.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 45 feet. Roll Charisma + Performance Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4. Armor is fully effective against this damage.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use a watch to activate this Effect.
Whenever you use your Movement, after all other calculations, the distance you may travel is doubled.
Outside of Combat, any non-Gift, non-movement Actions you attempt take drastically less time to complete, as long as your personal speed is a factor in the Action. Total time reduction is determined by the GM and capped at 90% (executing the Action takes no less than 1/10th the normal time).
The detective can learn a lot by watching someone for a minute. Each subtle detail, every unexplained stain, reveals something about where the target has been. Ocassionally, they'll drop a business card, or explain how to contact them. The detective is listening.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target does not know you're watching them. You cannot investigate the same target more than once per hour. At the end of your investigation, roll Charisma + Investigation at Difficulty 6.
You learn a single specific piece of information, chosen from the following list, about your target:
The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is that you keep peeking at the target. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
