This round of ammunition is engraved with a frozen bunny. It can be loaded into any firearm. When shot, it leaves a spiral of blue smoke behind it. When it collides with its target, it explodes into a cloud of blue, glittery fog that quickly dissipates. Those caught in the area of effect find their joints stiffening, sometimes resulting in temporary paralysis.
Spend an Action and use up this bullet with an engraving of a frozen bunny. Select a single Living target or a Location within normal Attack range. If you select a Location, all Living targets within 20 feet of the chosen Location, besides yourself, are affected. The target may roll to dodge or Defend, as normal for firearms Attacks. The Attack itself does not deal any Damage beyond the Effect.
If you succeed, affected targets becomes drowsy for the next 3 Rounds, during which time they suffer an additional -2 dice Penalty to all Actions. At the end of their drowsiness, they fall into a state of sleep paralysis for Contested Outcome x 3 minutes. During this time, they remain fully conscious and aware of their surroundings but are incapable of taking any actions.
Sleeping targets will not prematurely wake up on their own, and can only be awoken by taking Damage or nearing death from hunger, thirst, or suffocation. Drowsy targets always fall asleep, regardless of what happens while they are drowsy.
You consume the coke, snorting being traditional but pouring it down your throat works too. Suddenly, your body is supercharged with the power of Florida and Crackheads, your words becoming frenzied howling and grunting, and your body becomes able to take and give a beating.
Use up this gram of coke and spend an Action to activate.
You transform into a crackhead version of yourself for 3 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are a crackhead version of yourself, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. While transformed, your Attributes are the same.
Your alternate form is its own deadly weapon. Unarmed attacks made in your alternate form deal +3 Bonus Damage and Brawn does not act as Armor against them.
You do not suffer wound penalties while in your Alternate Form.
You cannot speak any coherent verbal language and must resort to other means of communication.
After a nice long smoke... you too: burn up and dissolve into smoke!
... Most of the time, atleast.
Sometimes this shit doesn't even work: call it improper packing.
Sometimes... its cut bad, other times... it has seriously adverse health effects but hey
Thats the cost of a good smoke.
Use up this Cigarette (unless you succeed on 1d10, Difficulty 7) and spend one minute. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. Roll a single d10, Difficulty 4. If you fail or botch, the Effect fails and you cannot attempt to use it again for an hour.
You transform into Smoke for the next hour. You may end the effect early and return to your normal form at will. Your structure must remain relatively contiguous. It is not necessarily obvious that your transformed state is an unusual phenomena or that it is acting with singular purpose.
While in this form, you can squeeze through any gap that is not air-tight, though this may take more than one Action at GMs discretion. You may fly at your standard movement speed.
Damage from standard attacks is halved, but Damage from AOE effects is increased by 1. You may suffer Damage from wind and powerful gusts at GM’s discretion. You may spend an Action to reduce one of your Injuries’ Severity by 2, as long as you obtained the Injury while transformed and the separated pieces could reasonably be rejoined.
You cannot communicate, use equipment, or use Gifts while transformed. Your equipment does not transform with you beyond basic body coverings. You cannot carry any items while transformed.
While transformed, you can make an unarmed attack using Body as your attack roll. The target may contest by dodging or Defending. This attack deals +2 damage.
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
When you activate this Effect, roll a single D10. if the result is 5 or lower, you receive a Severity-1 Injury and a Minor Battle Scar.
Way of use: It's just snorting cocaine.
Change in character apperance: higher blood pressure so very visible weins, eys turning silver like mercury swirling around and glowing softly, all hair on the body becomes white (dosen't go away after effect ends)
What user is feeling: "Your heart starts to race out of your chest, your vision becomes like an overwxposed photo, andrenaline rushes like time in itself starts to slow down, and your legs just burn to run and run and run for miles on end... It's the best feeling in the world man." Ęneasz
Use up this Suspicious white powder in a zipper bag (unless you succeed on 1d10, Difficulty 7) and spend an Action.
Lasts 1 minute. Whenever you use your Movement, after all other calculations, the distance you may travel is tripled.
Outside of Combat, any non-Gift, non-movement Actions you attempt take drastically less time to complete, as long as your personal speed is a factor in the Action. Total time reduction is determined by the GM and capped at 90% (executing the Action takes no less than 1/10th the normal time).
If you go a round without using your Movement, you immediately collapse and must remain immobile and resting for the same duration of time you previously spent moving.
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
David Vance takes out what looks kind of like a Tide Pod full of blood, that moves on its own within the plastic, and feeds it to his target. Over the course of a minute, the target's wound begins to stitch itself together, filling in with fresh flesh. After a minute, depending on how compatible the target is with the blood, the fresh flesh will align well with their body and their wound will be healed. This effect can even save those on the brink of death, as the Lazarus strain blood of the Gorgon reanimates their dead flesh to work in conjunction with that which can be saved.
David took the leftover blood in the Vial of Healing and grew bacterial cultures of it, which he then later turned into these consumable ampules. The bacteria when grown and fed, (a quite time-consuming process) are quite adept at healing the new hosts which consume them.
Spend 2 Actions and use up this Soft Plastic Capsule of Moving Blood. Select a Living or Dead target within arm's reach. Roll 7 dice at Difficulty 6, dice penalties do not apply.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
If you begin healing an Injury on a target that has been dead for less than a minute, and your healing reduces their Wound Level to a non-lethal level, their life is restored.
The target spends a minute eating up this delicious meal of assorted meats from.... Actually, don't think about where it's from too hard.
The meat releases healing agents into the user seen as green crosses enveloping them and their health bar.
You're making a trauma roll because there's definitely meat of your select race in here, Kei doesn't discriminate, you all taste good to her.
Use up this Demon Meat and spend 1 minute. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma.
The Ninja always prepares a few smoke bombs ahead of time to get out of sticky situations. They can fill a room with smoke in an instant and last long enough for the Ninja to make an escape or find an opening for attack.
Spend an Action and use up this smoke bomb.
You create a hemispherical dome of smoke originating at your Location, with a radius of 60 feet. and lasting for 5 minutes. The area inside your zone is affected in any number of the following ways:
The Witch prepares a vial of green fluid that can be used to poison any food or drink. Anyone who consumes the poison will grow drowsy and then fall into a deep sleep. While unconscious, the victim dreams of the witch and learns a secret about them.
Use up this vial of green liquid and spend an Action to turn food or drink into a trap. This trap lasts until triggered or disarmed. Roll 7 dice Difficulty 6, dice penalties do not apply.
The trap looks like food or drink. Only those who have seen this trap before can identify it as a trap. Anyone who is aware of the trap may intuitively avoid, trigger, or destroy it.
Any Living target within within arm's reach that uses the trap as food or drink will trigger it. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
When the trap is triggered, your target becomes drowsy for the next 3 Rounds, during which time they suffer an additional -2 dice Penalty to all Actions. At the end of their drowsiness, they fall asleep for Contested Outcome x 3 hours.
Sleeping targets will not prematurely wake up on their own, and can only be awoken by taking Damage or nearing death from hunger, thirst, or suffocation. Drowsy targets always fall asleep, regardless of what happens while they are drowsy.
An affected target's dreams while they are asleep will involve you in some way, and will reveal you as the source of their sleep as well as reveal secret information about yourself to them.
If an affected target was already sleeping when you used this Effect, they are put into a deep coma that lasts indefinitely, but they will be awoken from it if a kiss from someone who's attracted to them.
The hacker is capable of crafting bottles of nanites. When poured on a broken object, the nanites go to work restoring it to a functioning state. The goop shimmers and crawls, sparking with blue electricity as it reforms broken parts.
Spend 10 Rounds and use up this a bottle of metallic fluid. Select a Object within arm's reach that is no larger than an SUV. Cannot be used on Alien technology. More than half the target object must be present in order to begin repairs. Roll 7 dice Difficulty 6, dice penalties do not apply.
If you succeed, your target is repaired back to a functional state. If you fail, you spend the full time working before realizing you cannot repair the target.
The mutant now occasionally lays large, orange-speckled eggs. These Eggs do not hatch nor spoil. If cracked and applied to a chronic injury such as a missing limb, the scar heals completely within the hour. However, any area healed by the egg will forever carry an inhuman appearance as testament to the bizarre method of treatment.
Spend a minute and use up this unusually large egg (unless you succeed on 1d10, Difficulty 7). Select a Living target within arm's reach. Select a Battle Scar on your target to treat.
The treated Battle Scar heals as you finish activating this Effect. If used on a Battle Scar caused by an Unstabilized Injury, that Injury is Stabilized.
Healing a Battle Scar in this way leaves behind an inhuman attribute such as fur, scales, or feathers on the target which cannot be healed.
The mad scientist produces thorium cores that can be used to upgrade tools and other devices. The core supercharges the item, increasing its quality and rendering it indestructible for a period. However, once the core runs dry, the object is rendered less useful than it was before. The core crackles with blue electricity while active.
Spend 1 Action and use up this glowing blue disk. Select a non-Alien Device within arm's reach. Cannot be used to improve Armor.
Lasts the next two hours. Your target receives 2 extra dice to all actions taken for its intended use. Attacking with an upgraded weapon grants +2 Weapon Damage instead of additional dice. While it is upgraded, the item cannot be destroyed.
After the Effect ends, any upgraded targets suffer a -2 dice penalty until they are either repaired or upgraded again.
