(This Effect is obviously Alien and eye-catching across its range to those witnessing it, and you are obviously the source. During Effect activation, you are obviously investigating the area. You must actively and obviously be using Bone charms.)

Selai draws a circle on a surface and presses their hand on the center. Their eyes glow and the details of the land come surface from their arm and stains their body with what's desired. Those around him will hear whispers coming from their mind; the whispers of the land that are drawn in by the bone charms, focusing, and accumulating as mystical aura on their arm before disappearing.

Spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 500 feet You must actively and obviously use Bone charms to activate this Effect. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Occult at Difficulty 6.

You learn a single specific piece of information, chosen from the following list, about the area:

  • You learn the detailed map of the area.
  • You learn how heavily trafficked the area is, what sorts of Animate beings have moved through the area and when.
The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.

Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 100 feet At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Investigation at Difficulty 6.

You learn the following information about the area:

  • You learn about any traps or ambushes in the area. Using this power does not trigger said traps or ambushes.
The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.

You cannot investigate the same area more than once per day.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 500 feet You must actively and obviously use Traditional Beads to activate this Effect. You cannot investigate the same target more than once per hour. At the end of your investigation, roll Charisma + Occult at Difficulty 6.

  • You learn where exactly creatures and people live within the area, and what sorts of creatures they are.
  • You choose a specific type of event and receive a vision of the last time it occurred here.
  • You learn how heavily trafficked the area is, what sorts of Animate beings have moved through the area and when.
The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Expend a point of Battery and spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 100 feet At the end of your investigation, roll Intellect + Technology at Difficulty 6.

You learn the following information about the area:

  • You can tell the age of any structure or natural formation in the area. This includes trees and plants growing in the area.
  • You can locate the source of any Alien energy or the presence of any Alien effects on the area. Specific information about the function of these effects beyond their general type is not forthcoming.
The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.

You cannot investigate the same area more than once per day.
