An extraordinary melee weapon.

On Legendary Artifact Blacksmith's tools.
(When actively using this Artifact in any way that exceeds what a mundane counterpart could do, it is obviously Alien and cannot be concealed under your clothes or similar.)

Skadi is a steel blacksmith's hammer, it is grey and decorated with very sophisticated and intricate designs

Upon striking something with this hammer it begins to glow a faint red

On it contains a red hot glowing inscription reading:
"ᛗᚨᛁ ᚦᛁᛊ ᚺᚨᛗᛗᛖᚱ ᛊᚺᚨᛏᛏᛖᚱ ᚦᛁ ᛖᚾᛖᛗᛁ×ᛊ ᚹᛖᛈᛟᚾ"
"May this hammer shatter thy enemy's weapon" (translation)

While working in his forge, Henry prepared to pour the metal into his cast to forge a new sword, after grabbing the molten metal he turned to pour it in the cast and found that it was gone. In it's place lied the cast for a hammer, he decided to just go with it and forge the hammer. after he poured the cast and fitted a handle to it he held up his new creation, impressed by the design he took it outside and held it up. When he did this a bolt of lightning down and struck the hammer, causing to glow a faint red and the inscription (described above) to appear

This Artifact can be used as a club / improvised weapon. It is roughly the same size as a club / improvised weapon and just as difficult to conceal.

Attack by rolling Brawn + Melee, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +3 Weapon Damage.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Blade Breaker: If you successfully Defend against a melee attack or if an opponent is unsuccessful at Defending against your melee attack, you may break your opponent's weapon.
  • Mjolnir: You may call your weapon back to your hand as a Quick Action if it is within 50 feet of you. Can only be used on melee weapon that you have wielded in the past hour.
  • Shredder: If you successfully hit your target, the value of any Armor they are wearing is reduced by 2. For material armor, this penalty lasts until it is repaired. For intrinsic armor, it lasts until the end of Combat and any relevant wound is healed.

  • Reminder: additional Weapon Damage granted by this Effect does not stack with any other bonus to Weapon Damage. Instead the largest bonus is used.

Community Melee Weapon Gifts

This Artifact can be used as a sword / axe. It is roughly the same size as a sword / axe but can be collapsed into The Ring of Tessivar and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.

Attack by rolling Brawn + Melee, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +4 Weapon Damage.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Blade Breaker: If you successfully Defend against a melee attack or if an opponent is unsuccessful at Defending against your melee attack, you may break your opponent's weapon.
  • Shredder: If you successfully hit your target, the value of any Armor they are wearing is reduced by 2. For material armor, this penalty lasts until it is repaired. For intrinsic armor, it lasts until the end of Combat and any relevant wound is healed.

  • If there is not enough free space to expand the object, it cannot be expanded. You cannot expand this Object as an attack.
  • Reminder: additional Weapon Damage granted by this Effect does not stack with any other bonus to Weapon Damage. Instead the largest bonus is used.

This Artifact can be used as a knife. It is roughly the same size as a knife and just as difficult to conceal.

Attack by rolling (Dexterity or Brawn) + (Melee or Brawl), Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +4 Weapon Damage. The target's Armor is reduced to 1/2, rounded up against this Damage.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Mjolnir: You may call your weapon back to your hand as a Quick Action if it is within 50 feet of you. Can only be used on melee weapon that you have wielded in the past hour.

  • Reminder: additional Weapon Damage granted by this Effect does not stack with any other bonus to Weapon Damage. Instead the largest bonus is used.

This Artifact can be used as a great sword / giant axe. It is roughly at least twice as large as a great sword / giant axe and cannot be concealed on your person or disassembled for storage.

Attack by rolling Brawn + Melee, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +5 Weapon Damage.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Blade Breaker: If you successfully Defend against a melee attack or if an opponent is unsuccessful at Defending against your melee attack, you may break your opponent's weapon.
  • Lasersaber: Given time, you may demolish any object or wall. To destroy 1 cubic foot of material: spend 1 Action for material demolishable with a crowbar or sledgehammer, and 2 Actions for other materials (like steel).
  • Shredder: If you successfully hit your target, the value of any Armor they are wearing is reduced by 2. For material armor, this penalty lasts until it is repaired. For intrinsic armor, it lasts until the end of Combat and any relevant wound is healed.

  • This Artifact cannot be disguised or morphed with other Effects like Shape-Changing object.

Upon fishing off of his boat one day after finishing a contract, Sam Bellamy noticed he caught something unusual. It was light and felt like a pen, upon asking his friend and roommate Jerry, he confirmed his suspicion. Sam got a piece of paper and attempted to write with it, but upon clicking the pen it transformed into a sword. Sam realized that this pen was more than it seems. Whether fate or luck, Sam could not tell, but now that he has this magical pen, he intends to use it.

This Artifact can be used as a sword / axe. It is roughly the same size as a sword / axe but can be collapsed into Pen and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.

  • Bastard: You may spend a Free Action to change this melee weapon’s base stats into those of any other basic melee weapon. Changing this weapon's base type affects its size, range, Weapon Damage, and roll.

  • If there is not enough free space to expand the object, it cannot be expanded. You cannot expand this Object as an attack.
  • Reminder: additional Weapon Damage granted by this Effect does not stack with any other bonus to Weapon Damage. Instead the largest bonus is used.

This massive door used to just be like any other door, but it was cared for and loved by rood so much and so much energy was put into it that it grew double the size and gained magical properties. Including returning to it's beloved owner.

  • Shredder: If you successfully hit your target, the value of any Armor they are wearing is reduced by 2. For material armor, this penalty lasts until it is repaired. For intrinsic armor, it lasts until the end of Combat and any relevant wound is healed.
