Zephyren gathers mystical energy into his palms and cups them so that the wings on the gloves align. Blowing on them causes a firebird to materialize and fly at the target.
On the firebird:
It's said that the firebird brings bad luck to its captor, though Zephyren's luck is horrible enough that he wouldn't notice a little more of it. Besides, he's chucking it at someone else, so if anything the bad luck with transfer to them first.
On energy:
In his childhood, people would always talk about 'qi' and how it flows together to create a unified being. Apparently, deities also have 'qi', as if it is one of the foundations of the universe. He's had some practice trying to manipulate it through tai chi, though he was never really good at it. Zephyren's enhanced senses have allowed him to pinpoint and gather the scattered energy of perished firebirds. Bringing them together, he can nearly mimic their rebirth for just long enough to enact their wrath on those who threaten him.
On voices:
Zephyren hates to admit it, but he doesn't bode well with people raising his voice at him. The noise grates at his ears, and he also goes into fight or flight and starts to make very reckless decisions. It's because being yelled at usually entails worse consequences in an Asian household. Words are never enough and Zephyren can only start to expect the worst. Yet, this is also when his true abilities come out.

Instead of dealing Damage all at once, the Injury caused by this Power starts at Severity 1 and worsens at the rate of one level per Round until it reaches the Severity it would have otherwise been.

Horatio slips into existence for a second around Grace, carefully holding a piece of notebook paper in his teeth. Disappearing again and bounding through the aether, he brings the message to the target and appears beside them as well before entering their mindscape to deliver. The target gets a mental image of Horatio presenting the note with a cat’s mix of pride and disinterest.
The development of Grace’s mindscape built a home for Horatio. He’s used to making his way in and out of it- ghosts are in some ways merely memories, after all, so where else would he stay?

You point the cane at a target, and a thin strand of lilac energy connects both yours and the target's heads to the head of the staff. You channel incomprehensible knowledge and imagery directly into the mind of the target, using yourself as a conduit for an alien mind

Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. Make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. Roll Mind at Difficulty 6. This Trauma may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy, as normal. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.
Mountain Spirit’s Leap
When Stinky Pete focuses his mind to teleport, his form becomes momentarily blurred, like a mirage dancing on the mountain wind. His eyes glaze over as he attunes himself to the earth beneath him, feeling the ancient paths and hidden routes that only he can sense.
As he exerts his Mind, the very ground seems to respond, sending tremors through the soil, and his form flickers, bending reality as if nature itself is plucking him from one spot and dropping him elsewhere. To an observer, it’s like he vanishes into thin air with a gust of wind and reappears where he intends, the faint sound of shifting stones accompanying his arrival.
If in a mountainous area, this ability becomes even more dramatic. The mountains seem to call out to him, their ridges and peaks aligning in his mind like a vast interconnected web. For one minute, as he traverses the rocky terrain, each step resonates with an ancient power. When he decides to jump, there’s a sudden, sharp pull as the very fabric of the mountains folds, spitting him out at the edge of another range, no matter how distant. The terrain doesn’t just connect; it becomes an extension of his will, bending space and time as if he were an avatar of the mountains themselves.

The mutant now occasionally lays large, orange-speckled eggs. These Eggs do not hatch nor spoil. If cracked and applied to a chronic injury such as a missing limb, the scar heals completely within the hour. However, any area healed by the egg will forever carry an inhuman appearance as testament to the bizarre method of treatment.
Spend a minute and use up this unusually large egg (unless you succeed on 1d10, Difficulty 7). Select a Living target within arm's reach. Select a Battle Scar on your target to treat.
The treated Battle Scar heals as you finish activating this Effect.
