Charlie's eyes glow with the same spiritual light that the Dead Line does when under the active effects of The Lifeline. She brings her target's consciousness temporarily to a temporary 'transitory' space. In this space, both Charlie and her target can see each other standing in an environment representing their souls in an endless dark void. (As detailed in the Extended Description.)
Charlie feels out souls as if they were abstract environments tied to the person's inner self. A violent and insecure person would have a volcano twisted and bent, about to snap, while a gentle and patient person would have a calm pool of water in a delicate glade.
Charlie's own soul is an ever-changing labyrinth of railroad tracks spiking out in all directions. The labyrinth's many tunnels hold a single winding rail flickering with green-blue fire leading to some unknown place.
(When describing the shape of a character's soul, consider the following:
- What is the character's temperament?
- What are the character's aspirations?
- How does the character view themselves?
- How can you tie the abstract shape of a soul to the character's nature?)
Exert your Mind and spend 2 Actions. Select a Sapient target or a Creature within 20 feet. You may select a target at any range if you use up a mark of the target's movement, such as a subway ticket or a footprint, of the target. You must actively and obviously use a conductor's cap to activate this Effect. At the end of your investigation, roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6.
You learn all the following information about your target:
The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome. For any information you learn about your target, the corresponding information about you is shared with them.
This Effect is obviously Alien and eye-catching across its range to those witnessing it, and you are obviously the source.
Any information you gather is visible to those with line of sight to Charlie as they, too, are brought into the Intersection, (they stand on platforms made in the shape of their own souls, but not nearly enough to make a judgment on) and made publicly available. This also includes any information the target learns about you.
You cannot investigate the same target more than once per day.
After gotten injured on some kinda Adventure go to his old house basement and he found an old of research about way to make special healing mix and infused with mana it will start healing at rapid pace on help heal scars it smells kinda bad
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute to activate. Select a Living or Dead target within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use Mortar and Pestle to activate this Effect. Your target must make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Dexterity + Occult at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain. Your patient is required to don’t Break your promises for the next month. If they violate this rule, your treatment is immediately reversed.
If you heal an Injury on a target that has been dead for less than an hour and it reduces their Wound Level to a non-lethal level, their life is restored.
The Dive dumps a galleon of water on himself; and by hydrating himself immensely--he is able to imbue a fish (or a person I guess) with the ability to speak fish (or human i guess) temporarily--but if, and should, he fuck up... he loses his own speech because he internally drowns.
Spend an Action. Select a human or Creature target within 50 feet. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you lose the ability to speak english, or any langauge, for the next hour. (you can only make blubbing and bubble sounds). You must use up A galleon of water in order to activate this Effect.
The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.
Ajax knows the beauty and majesty of his Mother's work quiet well. He has always wished more people could appreciate her, and with his new ability he can ensure they witness the wonders of Nature and experience it's beauty for themselves.
To do this Ajax must violently rip their heart from their body, symbolically severing its connections and fill it with Nature's power. This causes plants to grow on the heart and roots to penetrate the delicate flesh, as their body is filled with power and their mind flooded with visions. Ajax gives these blessings in the hopes that they will inspire those who bear them to spread word of Nature's beauty and power.

Exert your Mind and spend 30 minutes. Select a Living target within arm's reach. The target can easily Resist.
You may add one augmentation to your target. Each augmentation counts as a Trauma and can have exactly one of the following Effects:
The augmentations you provide are not outwardly visible nor obvious.
You may end this Effect prematurely as a Free Action.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see Ajax reach into his targets chest and pulls their still beating heart out. Plants and roots begin to sprout all across the heart. Anyone watching will feel an incredibly uncomforatble itching sensation in their chest, as if roots are growing through their own heart.
The phone scans the target and shoots a beem changing their body's from the inside.
Expend a point of Battery and spend 30 minutes. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Your target must make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. The target can easily Resist.
You may add one augmentation to your target. Each augmentation counts as a Battle Scar and can have exactly one of the following Effects:
The augmentations you provide are not outwardly visible nor obvious.
Smoke's first foray into learning how to control blood has given him an indirect influence over it. By focusing on the latent emotions present within blood he can subtly guide others into a specific feeling. This guidance however is nothing more than a nudge as the emotional whiplash from pain will override his influence.
Additionally, as the scent of resonating blood flares up it overwhelms Smoke's own senses with a hunger that keeps him from concentrating.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a number of Living targets equal to your Charisma within 45 feet as well as a specific emotion. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you your emotion chosen becomes Intense Hatred and you are outed as the cause of the effect. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Affected targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8.
If you succeed, for the next minute, affected targets will do things they otherwise wouldn’t have done, inspired by the chosen emotion. They will not necessarily display their emotions in an obvious way.
Actions they take will be in keeping with their character and the way they tend to deal with strong emotions. They will be unlikely to change their mind about any actions taken or decisions made until after the Effect ends.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is that the veins across your body suddenly shimmer with life for a brief instance of pumping blood. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
While this Effect is active, you are at -2 dice to all Actions and cannot Concentrate.
If any affected target takes or deals Damage, this Effect ends.
The Witch summons a crow, whispers a message to it, and sends it off to deliver her words. Half an hour later, the crow arrives at the recipient and repeats her message aloud in its croaking, animal voice.
Spend an Action. Select a target any distance away from you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location.
You may send a single message to your target. It can be as complex or as large as you like. It takes at least 30 minutes before it is received.
The message may be intercepted while in transit, and may be overheard, read, or otherwise understood by anyone near either you or the recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.
The Scepter of Ang-Kapal is a gruesome device fashioned to look like a skeletal arm clutching a glass eye. When used, blood from the person holding is drawn into the eye where it swirls with dark energy. The eye turns to a nearby corpse and shudders, reviving the creature. The creature does not retain any of its memories or personality, but it is absolutely loyal to whoever is holding the scepter.
The Scepter of Ang Kepal has the unfortunate side effect of driving its owner mad.
Increase your sacrificial Injury's Severity by 1 and spend one minute. Select a Dead target within arm's reach with at least half its skeletal structure remaining. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma.
Your target rises as an Animate being. The raised creature is totally mindless, with no memory of its past life or hint of its old personality. They cannot communicate. They will follow any command you speak.
The creature lasts for eight hours or until it dies again. It is revived at full health. Any Injuries it had in life are not accounted for when determining its penalties or progression towards re-death, though they may affect its ability to perform certain actions at GM's discretion.
Raised creatures have their Abilities set to the same that they were in life. Their Charisma and Intellect are set to 1, but their Dexterity, Brawn and Perception are the same as they had in life. A raised creature cannot use any Effects.
Destroying one of your zombies requires a called shot to the head or heart. All other Injuries zombies suffer result in Battle Scars only, limiting their mobility and effectiveness in other ways.
Your revived targets deal 2 Weapon Damage with their unarmed attacks.
If you do not have a sacrificial Injury when you activate this Effect, take a new Severity-1 Injury.
Dazzle Glasses are advanced "black-tech" espionage gear. They can be styled as any sort sunglasses. When the wearer is recorded, they will quickly flash a non-visible laser into the recording device, destroying it after only a moment of footage is taken.
This Effect activates whenever you are recorded. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a Non-Sapient Object within 20 feet no larger than a duffel bag (35 liters). Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event. Roll Perception + Culture Difficulty 6.
If your Outcome is 4 or higher, the target will be completely destroyed and can no longer function, though it may still be repaired. If your Outcome is less than 4, the target will be partially damaged, and any attempts to use it will suffer a dice penalty equal to your Outcome.
This witch is a cruel and vengeful creature who works her vile arts against those she deems worthy of punishment. All she must do is point. A flash of green lightning strikes her victim and disappears. Immediately, or upon the completion of some condition, if the witch chooses, the victim's body warps and shifts into a gross mockery of its former self. Whether she's giving someone the head of a donkey or stealing their voice, the witch's enemies always get what is coming to them.
The sheer wickedness of this spell corrupts the witch, giving her a disgusting, witchy appearance.
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and Spend an Action. Select a Living target within 45 feet. Roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6. The target may roll Body, -2 dice at Difficulty 7, as a Free Action to resist.
If you succeed, the target receives a new Battle Scar of your choosing, limited by the contested Outcome:
When you activate this Effect, instead of occurring immediately, you may choose to delay its effects until the target takes a particular Action. For example: "when they fire a gun" or "when they swim in deep water."
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Witchy Appearance. You have a long, warty nose and chin, wrinkled skin, and a hunch back. Social rolls are at +2 Difficulty, and your free movement is reduced by 10 feet.
Your alteration "heals" over the course of the next month, after which it is fully cured.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Compulsion for payback. You must roll Self-Control to avoid using this Gift on anyone who wrongs you in a major way.
The Toon performs some sort of cartoonish act of violence. This may be handing someone a bomb, hitting someone with a cartoon mallet, burping a burp that is so noxious it melts flesh, or anything else as long as it is cartoonish.
The attack is more of a throwaway gag than a plot element, so any props or properties of the attack are incidental and disappear immediately. Animated mallets evaporate in a puff of smoke, fire does not spread, and electricity cannot power devices.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 45 feet. Roll Charisma + Performance Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
