As Xander runs up to throws a Javelin, his precise aiming can hit some of the harder objects, such as flying discs, all the way down to even a moving bullet.


You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with Javelins.

+2 dice to all rolls utilizing Javelins.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Bullet Parry: You may use a Reaction to Defend against any Melee, thrown, or projectile Attack in range of your Attacks.
  • Track And Field: “If you move at least 25 feet in a straight line before making a thrown Attack in that direction its effective range is tripled, and you deal +1 Damage.

Note that while all playing cards benefit from this gift, Bullet Parry requires the card to be reinforced in some way such as being made of metal to benefit from it.

You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with Playing Cards.

+2 dice to all rolls utilizing Playing Cards.

  • Bullet Parry: You may Defend against any attack in range of your attacks. Defending this way still costs a Reaction.
  • Catcher In The Rye: You may catch anything flying or thrown as a Free Action with no roll, as long as it is not an attack.

  • Boomerang: On your Initiative, in the Round following a thrown attack, the objects you threw will return back to you. You may catch them automatically, without making a roll or spending an Action.
  • Track And Field: If you move at least 25 feet in one direction before making a thrown attack, your throwing roll is made with +4 dice instead of the standard +2.

You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with Spears.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Pin Down: If you make a thrown attack with something sharp, and it hits a target near a wall or a floor, the projectile pierces through them, pinning them to the wall or floor. Unpinning oneself quickly will increase the relevant Injury’s Severity by 1.
  • Yeet!: You can throw things up to 100 extra feet per point of Brawn with no penalty. Anything thrown further than 100 feet will not land at its target until the next Round on your initiative.

You gain the following benefits as long as the target has not consumed a citrus within the last hour and you are engaged in combat with citrus.

+2 dice to all rolls utilizing citrus.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: C is the Key! - You have an intense and debilitating fear of scurvy. (Whenever you are without access to citrus for an extended period of time (several hours), or if your supply runs dangerously low (fewer than two pieces of fruit), you must make a Self-Control roll to avoid panicking and obsessing over finding more).

You also gain the following effects:

  • Bullet Parry: You may use a Reaction to Defend against any Melee, thrown, or projectile Attack in range of your Attacks.
  • Jackie Chan: You do not receive a Difficulty penalty when throwing objects that are not designed for throwing.
  • Junk Wolf: Thrown attacks with improvised thrown weapons always deal a minimum of 3 Weapon Damage.
  • Ricochet: You can make a thrown attack against a target behind cover so long as there is at least one exposed pathway to them.
