Reflection's Call "Squawk sqauwk sqauwk!"
Nathan projects his spirit, taking control over the target's reflection, possessing the nearby reflective surfaces while doing so. The target perceives their reflection communicating with them, with odd behavior, and sensations that overlap both the mirrored surfaces that the reflection occupies and their own mind.
Spend an Action. Select a target any distance away from you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location. This Effect cannot be used unless you are possessing a creature, the target is willing to communicate with you (allowing the effect to take hold), and you have seen the target's reflection in-person.
You open up a line of communication to your target, and may converse with them as long as one of you maintains Concentration
The conversation will only be perceived by the intended recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is your breath becoming foggy. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.
- Depending on the length of your message, it may take a target some time and/or effort to understand it in its entirety.
- Receiving a message does not force a target to pay attention to you, and they can feel free to ignore your message if they choose. Depending on the flavor of your Gift, they may or may not be able to return to it and read it later on.
- Generally you cannot communicate with Contractors who are not in a Contract with you.

Charlatans

Nowadays you can't go a day without some phony prophet trying to peddle their wares to you.
Driven by the increased interest in the supernatural, charlatans from palm readers to televangelists are everywhere. And while the vast majority of witches, psychics, magicians, hypnotists, cures, potions, faith healers, and clairvoyants are complete fakes, they do make a living.
As the saying goes, "it's easier for an actor to make it in alternative medicine than Hollywood."
Most people scoff at these clearly-phony supernatural services, yet those same people often buy into at least one scam.
The most dangerous charlatans are the self-styled monster hunters who carry a mall-ninja arsenal and guns with silver bullets. Most have never encountered anything supernatural and do absolutely nothing besides burn some sage and patrol the area for a night or two. Even so, those who are superstitious, fearful, or desperate enough will hire them to solve the problems they simply don't understand. In some cases with disastrous results.
For Contractors, charlatans are red herrings and obstacles. Clumsy fakes that conjure a smokescreen of misinformation and escalate the situations they're in.

If the need is dire enough, Emperor Norton II can inscribe a missive with the Imperial Pen - if acting in his official capacity, everyone within a given postal code will receive this message immediately, typically as a copy of the written note, though other messages are possible.
Spend an Action. This Effect cannot be used unless both you & any potential targets are within the same Postal Code. You must actively and obviously use Imperial Raiment to activate this Effect.
You may send a single message to all targets which are within a specified range. It can be no more complicated than a multi-page letter or a long email.
You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.

Just a quick little message for you…
River winks at you, and suddenly you hear their voice inside your mind, clear as day. You can respond to them telepathically, too, with a bit of concentration.
Only one of the two needs to hold Concentration. River doesn’t need to know the true name, just something that they would like to be called.

The Psychic can speak directly into someone's mind, engaging in an entirely telepathic conversation with the target's inner monologue. While they do, they take on a blank, vacant stare in the direction of their target, and appear to be muttering gibberish to themselves under their breath.
Spend an Action to activate. Select a target within 10 miles of you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location. This Effect cannot be used unless you can see your target.
You open up a line of conversation to your target, and may continue speaking with them without any additional Exertion cost for as long as you maintain Concentration
The conversation will only be perceived by the intended recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
This Gift's level is capped at 2 Gifts and cannot be increased further.

The Witch summons a crow, whispers a message to it, and sends it off to deliver her words. Half an hour later, the crow arrives at the recipient and repeats her message aloud in its croaking, animal voice.
Spend an Action. Select a target any distance away from you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location.
You may send a single message to your target. It can be as complex or as large as you like. It takes at least 30 minutes before it is received.
The message may be intercepted while in transit, and may be overheard, read, or otherwise understood by anyone near either you or the recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
