Vines reach up of their own accord and wrap around the target, pinning them in place.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 45 feet. You must actively and obviously use vines to activate this Effect. Roll Brawn + Alertness at Difficulty 6. The target may contest by Defending or Dodging.
If you succeed, your target will be pushed or pulled towards a surface within 45 feet and is restricted at that location by a physical, tangible binding. They cannot move to a new location, and, if your Contested Outcome was greater than their Brawn, they are encased and cannot take any physical Actions other than attempting to escape until they break free.
The target may spend an Action and roll Brawn or Dexterity + Athletics to attempt to break free. They must accumulate a total Outcome equal to or greater than the original Contested Outcome to escape. Damage to the binding from outside sources also contributes.
You may use this Effect as a Reaction to contest any physical Action a target is taking. Excess Outcome does not restrict the target. This interrupts Concentration.
If your target does not escape within 3 Rounds, they cannot ever free themselves and must be rescued.

Bruno implodes in a splash of blood, then reforms from blood streaming out of the target. Neither is injured by this bloody event.
Spend an Action. Select a Location which is at most 60 feet away horizontally or 15 feet away vertically. If you have activated this Effect 10 times it the last minute, you must Exert your Mind. This Effect cannot be used unless the destination is adjacent to a creature or being with blood.
You jump to the chosen location. If jumping blind or landing precariously, must roll Dexterity + Athletics to land safely. You will never take fall Damage from successfully landing a jump made with this Effect.
You may opt to trade your free movement for a Super Leap if you are jumping less than 50 feet or if you are closing a gap to an opponent and spend your Action on an attack.
Instead of physically passing through the air, you are teleported directly to your destination. Does not allow you to go through walls, cages, or grapples.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see Bruno implode in a splash of blood, then reform from blood streaming out of the target.
Bev utilizes all of her focus and mental processing to dedicatedly operate on a target. She cuts into them with mechanical precision, using an available set of surgical tools.
The knowledge for treatment is called directly upon from a sub-system within Bev's multifaceted mind. Expending herself, Bev forcefully extracts the knowledge required for treatment and automates her body to work through it with machine-like precision and efficiency.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Living or Animate target within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use Surgical Tools to activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Intellect + Technology at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.

Your target may be actively engaged in Combat. Communicate a command to your targets. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Any affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
If the contested Outcome is positive, your targets will be compelled to follow your command to the letter-- but not necessarily the spirit-- of the command until they have completed it or for your Contested Outcome in minutes. You cannot issue another suggestion to the target until 10 minutes after they have completed the first command or 10 minutes after a failure.
The target is unaware that they are under supernatural influence and feel they are acting of their own free will. If you fail, they realize that you were attempting to influence them supernaturally with your command.
Your command can be an order to take an immediate Action. You cannot order a target to "do nothing," and they are free to take other Actions as they fulfill your request. Your command cannot be obviously self-destructive. The Effect ends if following your command would cause a target to cross one of their Limits in a way that would necessitate a Trauma roll.

The Witch is a master herbalist and can cure any number of illnesses and diseases with her special potions. She goes into the wilderness to find the proper set of herbs. The whole process takes about fifteen minutes, after which the patient must drink the entire mixture. They are immediately cured.

You may cure diseases or poisons even if they are not treatable through modern medicine. During treatment, the malady you are treating does not progress or cause additional Damage or other effects.
Whenever you cure a disease, poison, or toxin, if it had inflicted any Damage, your target is healed for half that Damage.
