The user removes one of their digits, which begins to bubble and transform. It grows slightly, transforms all flesh to fibrous metal, and a thin silver mouth opens at the tip. A metal wing sprouts from the middle segment, allowing for flight. The user's own sacrificed digit regrows through the ring after activation is complete.
After activation, the minion can perceive and communicate through the mouth at the tip of the finger. That same mouth is very conductive, and can administer a powerful electric shock when triggered.
Increase your sacrificial Injury's Severity by 1 and spend an Action.
Summon a single Sapient metal finger at your location. They last until they are destroyed They are controlled by the GM but will follow any commands you give. This Artifact may have at most one active at a time.
If you do not have a sacrificial Injury when you activate this Effect, take a new Severity-1 Injury.
When deployed, the artifact unfolds and begins to spin and levitate in place, animated by the spark of creation imbued in its design. Commanded via verbal, somatic, and physical signals attuned by the user, the artifact follows where they designate and automatically returns into their possession upon completion. The impossible layering of folds creates points concentrated enough to act as an armor shredding edges, leaving jagged, geometric wounds wherever they attack.
Brought to life by the care, creativity, and labor poured into each fold by its creator, this artifact requires a similar degree of attention as maintenance for its spark to remain-- similar to a fire receiving kindling for its flame. This typically means unfolding and refolding its patterns and shape, either manually or through command.
This Artifact can be used as a shuriken. It is roughly the same size as a shuriken and just as difficult to conceal.
Attack by rolling Dexterity + Athletics, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +0 Weapon Damage.

The user takes a firm grasp of this artifact and lets out a solemn prayer to the Spirit of Film Noir, begging for it's aid in this time of need. Within seconds, their form is crumbling apart, leaving little of them behind but dust.
The user has been briefly transported into the World of Film Noir, the abode of Frank's benefactor. It appears as an almost endless greyscale city, its streets lined with collapsing buildings and tired denizens. Cigarette smoke forms an impenetrable smog around the city, accompanied by an ever-present smooth jazz soundtrack.
Over-exposure to this world can cause various adverse mental effects, often slowly morphing the user's mind into a flanderized mess of Film Noir tropes.

This Artifact can change its appearance. When not transformed, it is roughly the same size as a ________ and just as difficult to conceal.
Whenever you show this Artifact to someone, you may give a general description of it, and anyone who hears the description and sees the Artifact will have their mind fill in the details to complete the illusion.
The way the Artifact is seen can mimic specific items (such as a particular painting, a certain person’s ID, etc), but must be of a similar size and weight to this Artifact.
The new appearance is illusory; it will hold up to scrutiny, but its composition is not altered and it gains no new functionality. Any attempt to use it for a function which it cannot perform (for instance, making bread look like a knife and then trying to stab someone) will cause the illusion to fail or allow a Perception check to see through the illusion, at the GM's discretion.
The soles of these things are actually, like, smooth to the nearest micrometer. No friction, no fuss. You're running over stuff like it's hot butter. This is less useful than it sounds, though.

This device is a piece of chrome the size and shape of the back of a spoon. When placed against the skin, small hypodermic needles sprout from the device and attach it to the user's bloodstream.
