Invoking his oath, Alan undergoes a flashy transformation sequence to become the superhero, Paragon. In this form, Alan's body is completely replaced by the Paragon's signature costume, a suit of white armor with a billowing blue cape and emblem of peace emblazoned on their chest. They appear like an fictional character brought to life, moving as if animated between frames and possessing pure white eyes that change size with their expression.
Exert your Mind (unless you are in a major metropolitan area) and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: flashy transformation sequence. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.
You transform into an animated superhero for 3 hours. You have access to all of your Powers while you are an animated superhero, and you can use your equipment. The Injuries and Battle Scars of your Alternate Form and your true form are tracked separately.
While transformed, your Brawn is increased by 2 and your Charisma is increased by 2. You do not suffer any Stress while transformed.
While transformed, instead of your normal clothes and equipment, you are equipped with: Paragon Superhero Gear
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Zero To Hero: Your physical prowess only functions within the body of your superhero identity. When you are outside of your Alternate Form, your Strength and Dexterity attributes are set to a 1.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Main Character Syndrome: You're the protagonist of the story, destined to save all the side characters you are superior to. You must succeed a Self-Control roll in order to believe something or take an action which contradicts this delusion and With Great Responsibility: You are compelled to follow your morals. Whenever you are faced with the opportunity to save a life or enact justice, you must succeed a Self-Control roll to resist the urge.
When Neil is targeted by an attack, a field of shadowy miasma flares around him, protecting him from harm.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You have 3 Armor, which reduces incoming Damage. Armor from multiple sources does not stack. This Armor cannot be circumvented with Called Shots.

If you would take an Injury that would kill you, you don’t die. Instead, you survive in an Incapacitated state. This state lasts for the next hour, at which point you fully return to life.
If, while you are unconscious, your wound level rises above your rating in Body + Intellect, or if you take an Injury with Severity greater than your rating in Intellect, you die. After you return, the Injury that would have killed you, as well as any Injuries sustained while Incapacitated, are healed. Battle scars obtained during this time remain.
Though the subject bleeds at a normal rate, their wounds go through the inflammatory, proliferative and remodeling stages much faster, once the wound has clotted to begin the healing process, spurred on by a excessive amount of stem cells in the subjects body
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Any Injury you receive heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level every day, starting once it becomes stabilized. You may also Exert your Mind and spend an Action to reduce the Severity of a single stabilized Injury by 1. Does not affect Injuries suffered as an activation cost for Effects.
Battle Scars caused by your Injuries will remain.
Body temporarily takes on the appearance/texture of melting flesh, sludge, jello, and wax. As the casting completes, you look like someone else now.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute.
You become disguised in a manner of your choosing. The disguise lasts for two hours, or you may end it early at will.
The new appearance may have a different sex, age, and race to your own, and you may alter height by up to a foot and your weight by 50%. Your disguise cannot directly mimic an existing person. You cannot alter your clothes. A disguise cannot affect your Attributes or other stats.
You may roll Charisma + Crafts to attempt to make your disguise Beautiful. If your Outcome is 6 or higher, non-Effect Charisma rolls where your good looks could help are rolled at -2 Difficulty. If you fail or botch, you are ugly instead, and non-Effect Charisma rolls are made at +2 Difficulty.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see "The Thing"-like shapeshifting.
The Necromancer stands over a corpse and makes a series of grandiose lifting gestures. The corpse rises from the ground as though suspended by invisible strings, barks a pained groan, and lands on its feet, now a full-fledged member of the living dead.
Increase your sacrificial Injury's Severity by 1 and spend an Action. You must use up corpse in order to activate this Effect.
Summon up to 3 Non-Sapient, Animate zombie at your location. They last for two hours or until they are destroyed. They are controlled by the GM but will follow any commands you give. You may have at most 3 minions active at a time.
You may end this Effect prematurely as a Free Action.
If you do not have a sacrificial Injury when you activate this Effect, take a new Severity-1 Injury.
You never know whether or not the musician's death is merely part of the performance.

The mutant has left humanity behind. They're are muted to the core, with glowing blue blood and a hunched posture that makes them more suited for running on all fours than using equipment and vehicles.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You are permanently and visibly transformed: you have blue, bioluminescent blood and a hunched posture adapted to running on all fours. You are considered to be a Sapient, Living Creature when targeted. Your Dexterity is increased by 1.
Your body is adapted to sprinting. You receive +3 dice on non-attack rolls related to sprinting.
Any Animate being that consumes or is injected with your bodily fluids receives a Severity-1 Injury. Every Round, they must roll Body Difficulty 9. If they fail, the Injury worsens by 1 Severity. If they succeed, the Injury stops worsening.
You cannot be mistaken for a normal human. You cannot always use standard human clothes, equipment, vehicles, and facilities, and when you can, you suffer an increased Difficulty.
You cannot ignore or decrease the effects of Stress for any Self-Control rolls you make.
The beastmaster can speak to and understand any animal.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You may understand and communicate to terrestrial animal as if you are fluent in a relevant language.
The survivalist is adept at following an animal through any terrain. Once they find a recent track, they may focus their will to illuminate the trail of their target. Any part of the target's trail within eyeshot glows a bright, misty green. Even the trails made by vehicles the target was riding in are illuminated.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. You may select a target at any range if you use up fresh tracks of the target. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Survival at Difficulty 6.
