Charlatans

Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend an Action.

Summon a single Demon at your location. They will last for two hours, or until they are destroyed. They are controlled by the GM but will follow any commands you give. You may have at most 1 minion active at a time.

• Attacking: Minions can make melee range attacks with 5 dice to attack and +1 Damage.
• Body: Minions have 6 Body.
• Movement: Minions can move 20 feet per Round as Free Movement, and double that when performing an all-out Sprint. Your minions can fly at their normal movement speed.
• Intelligence: Minions have dog-level intelligence, and cannot communicate back to you. They cannot actively use Equipment.
• Actions: Minions cannot dodge or Defend. Any Perception checks they make are rolled with 3 dice.

After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.

Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend at least one Action. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. You must use up A peice of Candy in order to activate this Effect. Your target cannot be engaged in Combat. Communicate a command to your target. Roll Charisma + Influence ( dice) at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.

If the contested Outcome is positive, your target will be compelled to follow your command to their best understanding of the letter and spirit of the command until they have completed it or for your Contested Outcome in hours. You cannot issue another suggestion to the target until 10 minutes after they have completed the first command or 10 minutes after a failure.

The target will be fully aware that they are doing this task on your behalf and will inform anyone who they interact with that they were sent by you, though they may not view it as compulsory or against their will until the effect wears off. If you fail, they realize that you were attempting to influence them supernaturally with your command.

Your command can be an order to take an immediate Action. You cannot order a target to "do nothing," and they are free to take other Actions as they fulfill your request. Your command cannot be obviously self-destructive. The Effect ends if following your command would cause a target to cross one of their Limits in a way that would necessitate a Trauma roll.

Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must use up Green tall colored candle. in order to activate this Effect. Select a Battle Scar on your target to treat.

The treated Battle Scar heals as you finish activating this Effect. If used on a Battle Scar caused by an Unstabilized Injury, that Injury is Stabilized.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Sapient or Creature target within 20 feet. Roll Charisma + Influence ( dice) Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically.

If the Contested Outcome is positive, your target will take 2 points of Mind Damage and gains two new Traumas of your choice. The Trauma should be general and not specifically mention you. You should not have to be involved to trigger the Trauma.

these Traumas may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy, as normal. Targets that receive a new Trauma are aware that you are interacting with them but they do not view it as an attack or view the resulting Trauma as malicious. If their Trauma is treated, they will be able to see the reality of the situation.

Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see Boogars grips the microphone, his mouth twitching into an exaggerated grin. As he cracks a joke, the sound of childlike screams bursts from within him—distorted, choking cries that seem to tear at his insides. His eyes roll back, and thick black bile spills from his lips, dripping onto his costume. The air around him grows cold, and the screams echo louder, as if trapped souls are trying to claw their way out of his body. His body jerks unnaturally with every laugh, and his voice warps into a grotesque, mocking rasp, drowning out the desperate wails of the children who flicker like ghosts around him. Each breath he takes is another scream, each movement a twisted mockery of joy..

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Faces in the Dark and Compulsive Mockery.

Spend an Action to activate. Select a target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless The target must make the Exact same movements as the user. This means that if the user attacks, the target does too. If the user moves, the target moves too (and breaks free automatically if the range is left). You must actively and obviously use A Theater Mask to activate this Effect. Roll Charisma + Performance ( dice) at Difficulty 6. may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.

If you succeed, your target will be restricted at their location by an intangible, ethereal binding. They cannot move to a new location, and any physical actions they take suffer a dice penalty equal to twice the contested Outcome from the Effect activation, except attempts to escape or break the binding, which only suffer half this penalty.

Restricted targets may attempt to break the binding and escape by spending an Action and rolling Mind at Difficulty 7. Breaking free requires a total cumulative Outcome of twice the contested Outcome on the Effect activation.

You become fully restricted by this Effect, and are unable to resist it, though you may still attack or attempt to escape the binding as normal.

This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.

Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: The users eyes are permanently pure black. Not just the sclera but the users eyes are quite literally dark voids which no light can enter..

Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. You must use up at least a gallon of water in order to activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on yourself that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Brawn + Survival ( dice) at Difficulty 6.

If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.

This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.

Spend an Action. Select a Animate target within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use bread or a fish to activate this Effect.

For the next 24 hours, your target does not require any food, water, or sleep. Any attempts to age your target fail. Any roll to resist an Effect dependent on any affected requirement is made at -1 Difficulty.

This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

You may move easily and without a roll in any of the following situations.

• Pathfinder: You are adept at making your way through crowds, underbrush, and other dense, congested environments. While doing so, you move at full speed.
• You are able to climb trees and cliffs at your full movement speed.

You only gain the benefits of this effect if you are in an area without a human building within 300 feet.

Spend an Action. Select a target within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use at least a gallon of water to activate this Effect. Roll Dexterity + Athletics ( dice) Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.

If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4.

You may use this Effect to Defend against any melee, projectile, or firearm Attacks within range or Clash against any Attack targeted at you. Using it to Defend deals no Damage but does not cost Exertion.

This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.

You gain the following benefits at all times. You must actively and obviously be using a standard issue military medical kit to gain the benefits of this Effect.

All Stabilizations you attempt are considered Proper Stabilizations.

You also gain the following effects:

• In-Network Coverage: Any rolls to provide medical treatment to you are performing treatment near the site of a battle, including Effect activations, receive +2 dice.
• Sterile: Sanitary conditions no longer matter during medical care. Your patients will never suffer an infection or toxic shock during treatment, even if you are performing surgery in a sewer. You may preserve harvested body parts indefinitely.
