The Sons of Salem is a loosely-organized conservative populist movement in the United States that preaches violent opposition to anything they perceive as witchcraft, demonic, or monstrous.
Blowhard podcaster Ted Gundy and former general of the mercenary group “Hognose,” Roland Rush, founded the movement in 2010 after a series of violent werewolf attacks and unexplained, supernatural murders in Tennessee. Memberships grew quickly, stoked by Ted’s fiery doomsday rhetoric on his podcast "Truth Seekers" and the aspiration of the masculine power embodied by Roland.
Although they speak of duty, honor, and maintaining the “natural order” of things, the Sons of Salem are driven by fear. They collect guns and appear at protests en-masse as a way of easing the all-consuming terror of their powerlessness. At the same time, they have conditioned themselves to respond to fear with “strength” (read: violence).

- Falling Crane Strike: If you move and then make a successful attack against a target closer than the full distance you could have moved, you may choose to travel the excess movement in a straight line beyond the target.
The Hunter’s Prowess
From tree branches to hand axes, the Hunter is always prepared.
Danielle has begun to understand the truth behind the world, and the hidden dangers that lurk just below the surface. Myth and legend which might've been thought of as a fairy tale or to scare children from venturing too deep into forest seem to be much more than first meets the eye. Stakes, holy water, and silver weapons might just save her one day.
Danielle has developed her prowess with melee weapons of all sorts, including improvised melee weapons like tree branches and wooden stakes. Even the most unique and strange weapons are handled perfectly in her hands, as if she's tapping into the deep experience of the monster hunters of the past. From axes to knives to whips to broken chair legs, Danielle is always prepared to execute dangerous creatures.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with melee weapons.
+2 dice to all rolls with melee weapons. You may Defend against firearm attacks from any range using melee weapons.
You also gain the following effects:
- Dismember: If one of your attacks causes a Battle Scar, you may choose for it to be some form of dismemberment, depending on the Severity of the Injury you caused.
- Sheathing the Sword: When you would Clash with an opponent, before the dice are rolled, you may opt to have both sides deal full damage. If you do, your attack roll is at -2 Difficulty.

+2 dice to all rolls with Fists. You may Defend against firearm attacks from any range using Fists.
You also gain the following effects:
- Dismember: If one of your attacks causes a Battle Scar, you may choose for it to be some form of dismemberment, depending on the Severity of the Injury you caused.
- Heavy Strikes: If you are attacking with a blunt weapon, if your attack causes an Injury you may choose to knock the target down and back 15 feet. Standing up is typically a Quick Action.
Telekinetic Swordsage
The flying sword dances again.
An entirely new, and elegant form of blade dancing. Through controlling the sword with his mind and years of assassin training Gideon has inadvertently created a new school of sword fighting. Unfortunately, it's not exactly like anyone else could ever practice it. Though given it has been further enhanced by a gift it's perhaps not surprising that this school will never spread beyond its initial practioner.
You gain the following benefits as long as Gideon is wielding a weapon controlled via telekinesis and you are engaged in combat with Swords.
+2 dice to all rolls with Swords. You may Defend against firearm attacks from any range using Swords.
You also gain the following effects:
- Assassin: If your attack Injures your target, they cannot make a sound, even incidentally, for a single Round. Even the sound of their body and equipment dropping to the ground is silenced.
- Point Control: Called Shots that you attempt only require a Contested Outcome of 2 for small targets and 4 for tiny targets.
- Whirlwind: You may Exert your Mind to apply your next attack to any number of targets who are within melee range.
- Reminder: Bonus Damage stacks with Weapon Damage, but does not stack with any other Bonus Damage. Instead, the highest Bonus Damage is used.
