CryptoLeak: Silence is Broken
CryptoLeak is a video streaming platform with a singular goal: to allow users to upload and share video content, no matter what. Videos uploaded to cryptoleak cannot be removed, doctored, or censored.
Despite a near-universal condemnation by world leaders, most people greatly appreciate CryptoLeak. It's the go-to platform for posting illuminations, whistleblowing evidence, and data leaks.
CryptoLeak is a mundane technlogical entity that cannot be controlled or destroyed. It has no backing business or organization. It utilizes a distributed architecture that allows it to host content across the entire world, sharding and mirroring its petabytes of data accross millions of personal devices. Content uploaded to CryptoLeak is immutable and cannot be doctored or redacted by any known means.
For once, technology has put the power in the hands of the little guys.
World governments and other powerful organizations can still censor or restrict access to CryptoLeak within their domains, and they sometimes utilize the platform for misinformation and psy-ops campaigns. However, for most people, CryptoLeak represents the freedom to speak and be heard.
Of course, simply uploading a video does not gaurentee it will be seen or gain traction, nor does it protect you from any consequences that may come along with pulling back the veil. . .

The Dragon's Blade
A magical blade
This is a longsword with a golden hilt in the shape of a curled dragon. Down the spine of the blade are runes in ancient Romanian that say "Victory or death". This blade has been passed down through the Dracul family line since the 900's when it was forged by Tanik Dracul.
This Artifact can be used as a sword / axe. It is roughly the same size as a sword / axe but can be collapsed into a pocket watch and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.
Attack by rolling Brawn + Melee, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal 2 Weapon Damage +3 Bonus Damage. The target's Armor is reduced to 1/2, rounded up against this damage.
- If there is not enough free space to expand the object, it cannot be expanded.
- Reminder: additional Weapon Damage granted by this Effect does not stack with any other bonus to Weapon Damage. Instead the largest bonus is used.
Soldiers Hatred
Anger and Fury towards the enemy
Remembering his training, getting memories as to how they were taught to simply feel no emotion aside from hatred and anger towards the enemy, to have no feelings and see them as the shit stain of the earth it kicks in farther and further when he is picking up the artifact and remembering the monsters that were people that he killed during the war. Practicing the anger of yesteryears past he attains a new height of skill and is able to use it with weapons used by soldiers of both past, future, and present.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact and you are engaged in combat with Military Melee Weapons.
Your attacks with Military Melee Weapons deal +3 Bonus Damage. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
You also gain the following effects:
- Bullet Parry: You may React to and Defend against firearms and other projectiles with Military Melee Weapons.
- Dismember: If one of your attacks causes a Battle Scar, you may choose for it to be some form of dismemberment, depending on the Severity of the Injury you caused.
- Fancy Footwork: You may move your full Dash distance and attack with your Melee weapon in the same Round without penalty. You may also split your movement before and after your attack.
- Reminder: Bonus Damage stacks with Weapon Damage, but does not stack with any other Bonus Damage. Instead, the highest Bonus Damage is used.
Greatsword Mastery
Coming from years of practice, Biggun has mastered the art of the Greatsword, capable of using his own weight to swing and cleave his opponents, Biggun has no problem lugging around his massive blade.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with Greatsword.
+2 dice to all rolls with Greatsword. You may Defend against firearm attacks from any range using Greatsword.
You also gain the following effects:

The Stain
Yes it's not nice to look at but you know, it is what it is
Somehow, some sort of fungus has been introduced into this character's skin. It is disgusting to look at by all means as these stains move around as if it was their personal habitat, being perfectly looked at from the outside.
Now however it seems that this fungus is particularly protective of their habitat, and will work hard to mend any damage caused to it.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Any Injury you receive heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level each day, starting once it becomes stabilized. Battle Scars caused by your Injuries will remain.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: This character's skin is populated by strange black stains. These stains move at their own will as if they were live beings underneath this character's skin..
Knife Mastery
The knives in his hands seem to glimmer with sharpness.
Years of practice with his knives in the kitchen made Justine extremely proficient with it.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with Knives.
+2 dice to all rolls with Knives. You may Defend against firearm attacks from any range using Knives.

- Point Control: Called Shots that you attempt only require a Contested Outcome of 2 for small targets and 4 for tiny targets.
- Quick Draw: You may draw and equip yourself with any melee weapon on your person or within arm’s reach as a Free Action, as long as it is not being wielded by someone else.

The ninja is a master of a wide variety of martial weapons. They kill quickly and quietly.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in combat with melee ninja weapons.
+2 dice to all rolls with melee ninja weapons. You may Defend against firearm attacks from any range using melee ninja weapons.
You also gain the following effects:
- Assassin: If your attack Injures your target, they cannot make a sound, even incidentally, for a single Round. Even the sound of their body and equipment dropping to the ground is silenced.
- Falling Crane Strike: If you move and then make a successful attack against a target closer than the full distance you could have moved, you may choose to travel the excess movement in a straight line beyond the target.
