River takes a drag of something smokable and-- demonstrating incredible breathwork skills-- blows the smoke toward a group of targets. The smoke is imbued with his instinct, and brings forth the strong emotions that allow our inner demons to run rampant.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a number of Living targets equal to your Charisma within 45 feet as well as a specific emotion. You must use up something smokable in order to activate this Effect. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Affected targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6 -3 dice.
If you succeed, for the next hour, affected targets will do things they otherwise wouldn’t have done, inspired by the chosen emotion. They will outwardly display their emotions in an obvious and visible way.
Actions they take may be extreme and out of character for them. They will be unlikely to change their mind about any actions taken or decisions made until after the Effect ends.
If any affected target takes or deals Damage, this Effect ends.
When Harry died, his body became the site of a grotesque alchemical transformation. The foreign rituals performed on him activated the Philosopher’s Stone embedded within his chest, altering it in ways no one could predict. The red, waxy substance of the Stone, seemingly alive, reacts violently to Harry’s death, weaving itself through his body like threads of molten steel.
An hour after his death, the Stone begins to reconstruct his shattered form. Muscles knit themselves together, bones snap back into place, and veins reconnect with a sickening precision as the waxy material courses through his system. Slowly, his heart begins to pump once more, its rhythmic beat reigniting his body with unnatural vitality.
While Harry is incapacitated, his body lies in a fragile limbo, resisting further decay or failure. Yet, the Philosopher’s Stone anchors him to life with a single fatal flaw—his heart remains his sole vulnerability. If crushed or damaged during this liminal state, the alchemical magic will fail, leaving him beyond salvation.
When Harry rises, the injuries that killed him are gone, replaced by scars that bear the marks of his unnatural revival. The Philosopher’s Stone continues its silent work within him, a constant reminder that his survival is as much a curse as it is a miracle. Harry is no longer simply alive—he is alchemy incarnate, defying death itself, but tethered to a fragile and dangerous balance.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
If you would take an Injury that would kill you, you don’t die. Instead, you survive in an Incapacitated state. This state lasts for the next hour, at which point you fully return to life. Unstabilized Injuries do not degrade while you are Incapacitated
While Incapacitated, your only weakness is Crushing my heart, and if you take Damage from it, you will die. Damage from other sources will still be dealt and can cause Battle Scars, but will only kill you if your body is destroyed completely. If your weakness is not immediately obvious, attackers may roll to discover it. After you return, the Injury that would have killed you, as well as any Injuries sustained while Incapacitated, are healed. Battle scars obtained during this time remain.
After being bathed in the blood of a Dragon, The Werecats powerful body has been enhanced and is capable of recovering from injury at a rate far greater than that of a human.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Any Injury you receive heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level each hour. Any Injuries you receive while this Effect is active automatically count as a successful Proper Stabilization and do not deteriorate further. Any Battle Scars caused by such an Injury will heal with the Injury.
You may also Exert your Mind and spend an Action to reduce the Severity of one of your Injuries by 2. Does not affect Injuries suffered as an activation cost for Effects.
The dark is as thin as light but cold and dense. It pulls itself together to make your touch sharp.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in unarmed combat.
+2 dice to rolls for Attacking, Defending, Grappling, and Clashing without a weapon. Unarmed attacks do +4 Weapon Damage (instead of -1).
You may Defend against melee, projectile, or firearm Attacks from any range and Clash with those in range of your Attacks. Attacking materials like steel or spikes will not Damage you unless it has an Effect that does so.
You also gain the following effects:

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use a watch to activate this Effect.
Lasts 1 minute. Whenever you use your Movement, after all other calculations, the distance you may travel is doubled.
Outside of Combat, any non-Gift, non-movement Actions you attempt take drastically less time to complete, as long as your personal speed is a factor in the Action. Total time reduction is determined by the GM and capped at 90% (executing the Action takes no less than 1/10th the normal time).
The Toon performs some sort of cartoonish act of violence. This may be handing someone a bomb, hitting someone with a cartoon mallet, burping a burp that is so noxious it melts flesh, or anything else as long as it is cartoonish.
The attack is more of a throwaway gag than a plot element, so any props or properties of the attack are incidental and disappear immediately. Animated mallets evaporate in a puff of smoke, fire does not spread, and electricity cannot power devices.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 45 feet. Roll Charisma + Performance Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4. Armor is fully effective against this damage.

Exert your Mind and spend at least one Action. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. Your target cannot be engaged in Combat. Communicate a command to your target. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
If the contested Outcome is positive, your target will be compelled to follow your command to their best understanding of the letter and spirit of the command until they have completed it or for your Contested Outcome in minutes. You cannot issue another suggestion to the target until 10 minutes after they have completed the first command or 10 minutes after a failure.
The target is unaware that they are under supernatural influence and feel they are acting of their own free will. If you fail, they realize that you were attempting to influence them supernaturally with your command.
Your command can be an order to take an immediate Action. You cannot order a target to "do nothing," and they are free to take other Actions as they fulfill your request. Your command cannot be obviously self-destructive. The Effect ends if following your command would cause a target to cross one of their Limits in a way that would necessitate a Trauma roll.
