Description

Victor dispassionately examines the target's injuries and state of composition. After making a diagnosis, he stops the target's heart and compels the electrical currents in the target's body to contract and cauterize any wounds. A static field emerges around the target and emits a faint, high-pitched hum.

System

Exert your Mind and spend 1 Minute treating a specific Injury on your patient. Make a roll (Perception + Medicine), Difficulty 10 - 4. Each Success reduces the Injury's Severity by one. If you can reduce its Severity to zero, the wound is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and stabilized, and it will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.

This Power is only effective on humanoid creatures, and you cannot target yourself.

You cannot target the same Injury more than once.


Enhancements

  • Heal Thyself (You may target yourself)
  • Preventative Care (Treatment removes all Battle Scars caused by the Injury, even those that would not heal with Proper Stabilization.)

Drawbacks

  • Mage (Activating this Effect requires two consecutive Actions of Concentration. It involves intricate use of the body and voice. If interrupted during activation, the Effect fails. It is obvious you are preparing to activate an Effect during casting.)
  • After-care Instructions (All of your treatments place the same, specific restriction on the patient. The restriction lasts a month (until the end of their next Contract for Contractors), and if they ever break it, the treatment is immediately reversed.)
    • Aftercare restriction - The patient has hemophilia
  • Sympathetic Cost (Your target must also Exert their Mind to activate this Effect.)
  • Scarring (When you Activate this Effect, roll a single d10. If the result is 5 or lower, your target receives a Minor Battle Scar.)
    • None - The wounds close with visible raised scarring
  • Traumatizing (Your target must make a Trauma roll to reap the benefits of this Effect. They may choose to Resist the Effect and not make the roll.)
