(This Effect is not obviously Alien when used. During Effect activation, you are obviously interacting with the target. You must actively and obviously be using eyelids.)

"Heya!" He asked calmly as he checked the patient eyes focused on the individual,"I will run a quickly welfare check stay still for a moment."

The doc stays focused not looking away,while doing random scribbles in his little note book

A moment pass by,and the patient worriedly ask "are you done ? You haven't blinked for a while now"

The doc closes his eyes,"totally fine Mr rey, but i guess we will need to call the authorities to deal with your *vampiric problem*"

The patient turns pale,and shout how did you?! But was too late as the law enforcement breached the room.


Spend 2 Actions. Select a Sapient target or a Creature within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless i must keep the view at my target before and after initiating a conversation,if i do look away away for any moment or losing sight of my target it will immediately end. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you one eye/one of my eyes will immediately shut down. You must actively and obviously use eyelids to activate this Effect. At the end of your investigation, roll Intellect + Stealth at Difficulty 6.

You learn all the following information about your target:

  • You determine any medical or physiological issues they have, as well as their species and a general overview of their biology.
  • You learn the target's name, nicknames, screen names, and aliases.

The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.

This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.

You cannot investigate the same target more than once per day.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Community Investigate Individual Gifts

Exert your Mind and spend one minute. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. You must actively converse with the individual in question for one minute in order to gather any information. At the end of your investigation, roll Intellect + Investigation at Difficulty 6.

You learn all the following information about your target:

  • The target’s trail for the past 24 hours is revealed to you and anyone you teach to follow it. This trail shows how long ago the target was there and is followable even when they are in a vehicle.
  • You determine any major weaknesses that the target might have.

The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.

You cannot investigate the same target more than once per day.

  • Tracker You are not made instantly aware of where they have been in the past 24 hours; you must follow their trail. You may "happen upon" any trail they have made in the past 24 hours.
  • Weakness Must be things that are systemed around. For example, silver for a werewolf. Not general like "she's bad at fighting".
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Spend at least two Actions performing the following ritual: fills w smoke to activate. Select a Sapient target or a Creature within 20 feet. You must continuously interact with the individual in question in order to gather any information. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Alertness at Difficulty 6.

You learn all the following information about your target:

  • You learn a hidden desire of the target. Roll Outcome determines the relevancy / secret-ness of the desire.
  • You determine any major weaknesses that the target might have.

The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.

Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see fills w smoke.

This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.

  • Weakness Must be things that are systemed around. For example, silver for a werewolf. Not general like "she's bad at fighting".
  • When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.

Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action to turn a drinking glass into a trap. This trap lasts one day or until triggered or disarmed. At the end of your investigation, roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6.

The trap looks like a drinking glass. Only those who have seen this trap before can identify it as a trap. Anyone who is aware of the trap may intuitively avoid, trigger, or destroy it.

Any Sapient target or a Creature within within arm's reach that uses the trap as a drinking glass will trigger it.

You learn all the following information about your target:

  • You learn the target’s Traumas, Limits, and whether or not their thoughts, emotions, or memories are being influenced by any Alien forces.
  • You learn Their biggest problem.

The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.

Any information you gather is spoken and made publicly available.

You cannot investigate the same target more than once per day.

  • Anyone who witnesses you place the trap learns about this type of trap and can avoid it at will.
  • Triggering the trap requires an Action from the target, not merely an incidental glance.
  • Multiple traps cannot be placed in the exact same location or be triggered by the same single Action. Nor can one trap triggering cause another to trigger.
  • Trap can only be spotted by someone who has witnessed this particular trap before, has been informed, or possesses relevant supernatural abilities. They must achieve an Outcome of 4 or higher on a Perception + Alertness roll to do so.

A magical girl imbued these bullets with her powers, and what embodies compassion and empathy more than sharing your greatest secrets with someone else.

Spend an Action and use up this Butterfly Bullet. Make a Rifle Shot Attack at a Sapient target within normal Attack range. The target may roll to dodge or Defend, as normal for Rifle Shot Attacks. The attack may or may not deal Damage as per a normal Attack, at the user's choice.

You learn all the following information about your target:

  • You learn the target’s passwords, passcodes, secret phrases, pin numbers, etc.
  • You learn what the target values most and where to find it, provided they know. This includes any hidden or concealed treasures.

The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome. For any information you learn about your target, the corresponding information about you is shared with them.

You cannot investigate the same target more than once per day.

  • The Attack roll used to activate this Consumable cannot be at a Difficulty lower than 6. You may only use one Consumable per Action.
  • This consumable is destroyed when used and cannot be used again.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Carpathia connects to the soul of the target and coaxes out the answers to her questions directly from the source. Currently, the only way she can receive this information is by having the target say the information out loud. But eventually Carpathia will be able to cut out the middle man.

Exert your Mind and spend 2 Actions. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. At the end of your investigation, roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6.

You learn all the following information about your target:

  • Determine if this target is Alien in origin or whether it has any Alien energy or outside influences. You receive information about the type of energy, including the name of the relevant Source pool or equivalent.
  • You learn details about the target's family.

The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.

Any information you gather is spoken aloud and made publicly available.

You may only use this Effect once per day.

You cannot investigate the same target more than once per day.

  • Family Low Outcome gives info like number of siblings. High Outcome can give names, a random detail about their routines, etc.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Stock Investigate Individual Gifts

Spend one minute. Select a Sapient target or a Creature within arm's reach. You must actively converse with the individual in question for one minute in order to gather any information. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Medicine at Difficulty 6. The target may Resist.

You learn all the following information about your target:

  • You determine any medical or physiological issues they have, as well as their species and a general overview of their biology.
  • You learn a full medical history, including past injuries and illnesses as well as the healing process involved.

The quality and specificity of information gained depends on your Outcome.

This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.

You cannot investigate the same target more than once per day.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

You cannot investigate the same target more than once per day.

  • Contact info Low Outcome: a means of communication (phone, email, a secretary). High Outcome: specific phone numbers, email addresses, protocols for getting access to the individual.
  • Tracker You are not made instantly aware of where they have been in the past 24 hours; you must follow their trail. You may "happen upon" any trail they have made in the past 24 hours.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
