Cosmic Colossus is an ability that grants the wielder immense strength, enhanced by the energy of distant stars and cosmic forces. While not godlike, the user gains the ability to lift massive objects, endure extreme physical stress, and perform feats that would break normal limits. Their muscles glow with subtle cosmic energy, and their physical power is amplified to a level that pushes the boundaries of human and earthly capabilities, making them a formidable force in any situation.
The gift of Cosmic Colossus was passed down through Caine’s Native American ancestors, a power that originated not from earthly forces, but directly from the stars themselves. It began with a celestial encounter long ago, when Caine's first ancestor, Takwah, a great warrior, was chosen by the night sky during a fateful vision quest. On a night when the stars shone brighter than ever, Takwah sought wisdom from the heavens, offering his spirit to the sky in exchange for the strength to protect his people. In response, the stars above shifted and aligned, sending a torrent of starlight cascading down upon him, binding his very being to the cosmic forces.
This celestial power wasn’t an earthly force; it was the raw, untapped strength of the stars themselves—fiery, ancient, and infinite. The stars granted Takwah the ability to harness the essence of the cosmos, amplifying his physical prowess far beyond normal human limits. His muscles became vessels of stellar energy, pulsing with the power of supernovas and quasars. His strength came from the stars' light and gravity, and with it, he could lift massive boulders, move mountains, and withstand blows that would shatter a normal human body.

"...Come close, my brethren! Bask in the rainbow glow of the cosmos! Feel its energy radiate from your very mind, and feel its influence! Its power! That power which only *I* can bestow! Step forward, and be born anew! Stand with me, and bear the weight of the universe!..."
[Brain Hacks]: The boon provided has no physical marring and only weighs heavily on the afflicted's mind, not being actively harmful and merely taking up space. Its presence can always be felt, but is only a threat if the bearer already has too much on their mind.
[Critical Failure]: Serq is clumsily molding the power of the universe into the shape they see fit, fully aware of the consequences it might bring. Their link to The Mother protects them somewhat, but they are still susceptible to the psionic backlash created by pulling the wrong dimensional thread.

When activating this Effect, the user lights up a joint and continues to smoke throughout the entire process, exhaling clouds of smoke that fill the air. As they approach the broken object, their demeanor is oddly focused despite the relaxed haze around them. Their actions seem haphazard and random; they use whatever is at hand—a spoon to tap components, a screwdriver twisted in mid-air, or duct tape applied in bizarre patterns. Small sparks and clicking sounds occasionally emanate from the object, indicating progress.
For 10 minutes, they continue to smoke and work, seemingly in their own world. Observers notice an almost magnetic quality to their movements, a natural ease and confidence that seem to influence the environment around them. Despite the apparent chaos, there's an inexplicable sense that the user's presence and attitude are guiding the process, making their actions seem almost deliberate. By the end, the object hums back to life, fully functional. The entire scene is a blend of confusion and amazement as witnesses see the user's unconventional yet effective repair, all while constantly consuming marijuana.
Spend 10 minutes. Select a Object within arm's reach that is no larger than an SUV. Cannot be used on Alien technology. You must use up Marijuana in order to activate this Effect. More than half the target object must be present in order to begin repairs. Roll Charisma + Crafts at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, your target is repaired back to a functional state. If you fail, you spend the full time working before realizing you cannot repair the target. You may choose a second valid Device target while activating this Effect and splice both targets into a single new Device. The newly created item has the same size as the larger of the two initial targets, and can be used to perform the same actions as either of the original items. It receives 2 to those actions for the next day.
After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.
