This Artifact grants you the power to observe things at a distance.

( You are obviously concentrating while projecting your senses. You must obviously use this Artifact to activate this Effect. When activating this Effect, this Artifact is obviously Alien and cannot be concealed under your clothes or similar.)

Taking the form of glasses, goggles, even a welding mask, this artifact has a ring of tiny runes surrounding the lens or lenses. When infused with power, they glow visibly to observers, though not obstructively to the user. The user can peer through several feet of solid materials to, say, diagnose damage inside an engine, find a secret mechanism behind a bookshelf, or scan someone for hidden weapons.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

You may perceive things through sight within 15 feet of you with perfect clarity as though there were no walls or obstacles blocking your view for the next 30 minutes. You must maintain Concentration to keep up the effect.

You may perceive through up to 15 feet of material. The Difficulty of all Perception rolls made through a wall are increased by 1 per wall.

Exert your Mind and spend one minute.

You may perceive things through hearing within 75 feet of you with perfect clarity as though there were no walls or obstacles blocking your view for the next 30 minutes.

You may perceive through up to 15 feet of material. The Difficulty of all Perception rolls made through a wall are increased by 1 per wall.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

This Effect activates whenever someone talks about Margaret. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a target Location within 75 feet. Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event.

You may perceive things through hearing as if you were standing at that Location for the next 30 minutes. You may move your senses back and forth between your projected location and your real location without prematurely ending the effect. You may only have one projected location active at a time.

You create a visible manifestation at the Location where your senses are projected which looks like A woman's shadow looming behind.

  • When triggered, the Effect activation resolves immediately after the triggering Action. It is not Reaction speed.
  • This does not satisfy the Line of Sight requirement for targeted Effects.

A big range is only as useful as an extensive line of sight. With this, the glasses can hack through walls, flip off or on a light switch in a neighboring room, or even access someone’s phone from inside their pocket.

You may perceive things as if you were standing at that Location. The effect lasts indefinitely but you must maintain Concentration to keep it up. You cannot perceive anything at your physical location while the effect is active.
