No matter which part of the tool is used for what, when Momo applies it to the intended object, small pieces slide into place on their own, dents become undone, welds weld back together, fuel and power gauges go up, etc. If one pays close attention, there's a distortion in the air around the target, similar to what heat can create.
Momo tries to disguise this gift by using the right tool on the right thing, or even using an appropriate additional tool, but anyone paying attention knows something isn't quite right.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 Action. Select a Object within arm's reach that is no larger than an SUV. Cannot be used on Alien technology. You must actively and obviously use a multi-tool to activate this Effect. More than half the target object must be present in order to begin repairs. Roll Intellect + Crafts at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, your target is repaired back to a functional state. If you fail, you spend the full time working before realizing you cannot repair the target. If your target only requires fuel or power and is otherwise in working order, this Effect costs no Exertion, and the target is fueled/powered for the next 24 hours.
Strumming your guitar to provoke the right mood, you poke at an insecurity or weak point in someone's mental defences, absolutely tearing into them, attempting to reduce them to tears and anguish.
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action. Select a Human target within 20 feet. You must actively and obviously use Clementine to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Performance Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, your target will take 2 points of Mind Damage and gains two new Traumas of your choice. The Trauma should be general and not specifically mention you. You should not have to be involved to trigger the Trauma.
these Traumas may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy, as normal. Targets that receive a new Trauma are aware that you are interacting with them but they do not view it as an attack or view the resulting Trauma as malicious. If their Trauma is treated, they will be able to see the reality of the situation.
Vein's needle-thin fibres pierce the target's body, wrapping as close to the brain stem as possible. Once situated, the target's mind is laid bare, and Vein's host can probe the open memories until contact breaks.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select an Animate target within arm's reach You must maintain Concentration while the effect is active. Roll Dexterity + Melee at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Body at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you are able to view your target's memories. If you fail, the target knows you're attempting to read their memories.
You may ask a number of specific questions about their memory equal to your Contested Outcome. For example, “what is their computer password,” “What were they doing at 4:00PM yesterday,” etc. You cannot get answers to broad, analytical questions like “are they a good person?” or “what are their plans for the future?”
Each question you ask and memory you replay takes a single Round to read.
You may read memories that the target has forgotten.
Annette touches a target and their eyes light up before the target experiences their mind shattering and becoming traumatized after experiencing multiple horrific thoughts filled with despair.
Gifted to Annette by The Fool, this gift was crafted from the inverted stars card and given as a reward for surviving the Sanctuary contract.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Sapient target within arm's reach. Roll Brawn + Alertness Difficulty 6.
You should not have to be involved to trigger the Trauma.
these Traumas cannot be removed by spending Experience and undergoing mundane therapy. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.

Leon enhances his illusions with a few somber-plucked strings, energy flowing from the instrument in question as, for a moment, you can see the moon in the object's reflection. As he does so, the moon's reflection shifts from brilliant white to impossible pink; it bathes them in the magenta light that has come to him in his dreams. The morning of the hateful sun wreaths the object in question, and like a vacuum of sensation and knowledge it draws viewers in. An iota of the genuine unknown as what was is changed and twisted. The dark hunger of curiosity draws the viewer in: what is this, who is this, why is it? The pain of never knowing compels the onlooker to pursue, to ask after more, and to see to the exclusion of all else as their mind is trapped by the curse that comes with this enchantment. They have to know, and even those things with only the barest semblances of consciousness are introduced to this pain, though they cannot satiate it, doomed to pursue forever this new feeling that without the light of the moon, they will never know again.
Spend an Action. Select a Animate target within 1000 feet who can perceive you through. This Effect cannot be used unless An illusion is within cast range and in line of sight of both you and the target. You must actively and obviously use A musical instrument to activate this Effect. Roll Charisma + Performance at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
If you succeed, the target will keep their full attention focused on you for as long as you maintain Concentration. They will automatically fail any rolls related to noticing anything other than you.
If you pass from their perception and they are unable to pursue you, the Effect ends. If they can follow you, they must do so for 2 Rounds or the Effect will end. The Effect ends early if the target is Injured or violence occurs nearby.
This does not affect the target’s opinion of you or their mood, and they may take any Actions while affected (including attacking), as long as that action centers on you. Fascinated targets cannot Concentrate.
You may activate this Effect as a Reaction to contest any Action a valid target is taking. The target does not roll to resist, and beating their Outcome does not fascinate them. This interrupts Concentration.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.
Dr. Skunk, a great inventor, knows exactly what to do whenever she needs to improve a mechanical item. It's as simple as taking a look at something and knowing *just* the right spot to strike.
Skunk examines the item she wishes to work on for a short amount of time, visualizing it completely in her mind, before gently tapping it in a specific place to greatly improve its functionality. Over the duration of the improvement, the item takes on a faint shimmer, as if its saturation has been raised in a photo editing software, as well as having all dirt and grime cleaned from its surface.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a non-Alien Device within arm's reach. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you the Upgraded object shatters the next time the user attempts to activate it. You must actively and obviously use a Ball-Peen Hammer to activate this Effect. Can be used on Armor.
Lasts the next day. Your target receives 2 extra dice to all actions taken for its intended use. Attacking with an upgraded weapon grants +2 Weapon Damage instead of additional dice. If it is a piece of Armor, it instead receives half that amount as bonus armor rating, rounded up. If an upgraded shield and armor are both worn, the upgrade bonus does not stack with itself.
By slowing the hands of one of their watches, the time-traveler may interrupt and slow a target's movement through time. The target appears to be moving in slow motion for the duration.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Animate target within 20 feet. You must actively and obviously use a watch or clock to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Science at Difficulty 7.
If you succeed, the target will suffer a dice penalty equal to the Outcome for the next 2 Rounds. Dice pools may be reduced all the way down to 0 by this penalty. This breaks Concentration.
You may activate this Effect as a Reaction to contest any Action a valid target is taking, reducing their Outcome by your own. Your command has no impact beyond disrupting their Action.
The witch knows bad things happen to bad people. By bringing attention to a karmic imbalance, she can hurry it along, causing her target's bad luck to catch up with them. The target finds themselves suffering injuries due to freakishly bad luck until they cleanse themselves or perish.
Exert your Mind and spend one minute. Select a Living target within 25 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target deserves it. Roll Charisma + Occult at Difficulty 6. Your target may resist by rolling Body at Difficulty 7.

The affliction is not treatable by modern medicine. It may be diagnosed by rolling Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6, and can be cured by bathing fully in clear running water.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is you staring at the target, speaking calmly. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
While transformed, the Werewolf can leap great distances, climbing structures and closing the gap to their prey.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Location which is at most 60 feet away horizontally or 15 feet away vertically. This Effect cannot be used unless you are in werewolf form.
You jump to the chosen location. If jumping blind or landing precariously, must roll Dexterity + Athletics to land safely. You will never take fall Damage from successfully landing a jump made with this Effect.
You may opt to trade your free movement for a Super Leap if you are jumping less than 50 feet or if you are closing a gap to an opponent and spend your Action on an attack.
The Necromancer may exert their will on any undead creature, forcing it to act as they desire. The Necromancer's eyes turn completely black, and they speak a command to the creature in the language of the dead.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Non-Alien, Non-Sapient, Animate target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is undead.
For the next day, you may issue specific commands to your target which they will be compelled to follow.
Your commands must be relatively simple and within the target’s intellectual grasp. You cannot make them obviously endanger themselves or violate their instinct for self-preservation. The effects of the command will fade after a day has passed.
Who wouldn't want one of the mad scientist's famous implants? All it takes is a little time and a few terrifying experiments, and you too could be a better you!

Exert your Mind and spend eight hours. Select a Living or Animate target within arm's reach. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. They may choose to Resist the Effect and not make the roll. The target can easily Resist.
You may add one augmentation to your target. Each augmentation counts as a Battle Scar and can have exactly one of the following Effects:
The augmentations you provide are not outwardly visible nor obvious.
