Description

As Jules equips himself to aspire to God hood he has small minions that can save his items. Those that are needed are the ring of power and the seal of Nephys. Those are more and more needed as he fears his own death and has trained his flying undead minion to rescue him in his time of need.

System

Exert your Mind, and roll Dexterity + Firearms Difficulty 7 as a Committed Action. If you succeed, you summon a single minion. You may have [[maximum-minions]] active at a time. The minion lasts for an hour, has dog-level intelligence, and cannot communicate back to you.

Minions have the following stats. You have 6 times 2 points to distribute between the following:
Health levels, Movement dice, Attack dice, and alertness all of which have a maximum of 6.
Health: 4
Movement/dodge: 4
Attack (difficulty 6):
Alertness: 4
Their attack does (successes to hit + 1) damage.


Enhancements

  • Well-Trained (Minions gain a Primary Ability of your choosing. Non-Attack Actions using it have a 7 dice pool.)
    • Skill - Athletics

  • Fliers (Minions can fly at normal movement speed.)
  • Gang (You may have up to 5 minions active at once.)
  • Triggered (You cannot manually activate this Effect. Instead, choose a triggering event, always outside your control, that activates this Effect without requiring an Action or Exertion cost from you.)
    • Triggering Event - incapacitated.

Drawbacks

  • Exhausting (After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.)
  • Focus (Using this Effect requires a specific kind of item.)
    • Object - Ring of power
  • Unique Focus (This Power takes the form of a specific, unique item, which can be borrowed, lost, or stolen. You must use / wear this item as intended to use this Power.)
    • Focus - Seal of Nephys
  • Critical Failure (Roll a single D10 when you activate this Effect. If you roll a 1, you critically fail in a way that is extraordinarily dangerous. Failure should cause at least a Severity-4 Injury, a Major Battle Scar, or an effect counter to its purpose.)
    • Critical Failure effect - Battle scar
  • Conditional (This Effect is only available when a certain condition is met. This condition must be severe enough that this Gift is unusable the majority of the time.)
    • Condition - Shadows/Darkness
  • Maddening (Possession of this Gift causes a Trauma that cannot be cured by any means. The chosen Trauma must be likely to come up on a Contract.)
    • Trauma - Fear of death
