Gaspar can change his physical form on a whim.
Spend a minute. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you you lose part of your body, giving a random Major Battle Scar.
You become disguised in a manner of your choosing. The disguise lasts for two hours, or you may end it early at will.
The new appearance may have a different sex, age, and race to your own, and you may alter height by up to a foot and your weight by 50%. Your disguise cannot directly mimic an existing person. You may change the appearance of your outfit. A disguise cannot affect your Attributes or other stats.
You may roll Charisma + Crafts to attempt to make your disguise Beautiful. If your Outcome is 6 or higher, non-Effect Charisma rolls where your good looks could help are rolled at -2 Difficulty. If you fail or botch, you are ugly instead, and non-Effect Charisma rolls are made at +2 Difficulty.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see Gaspar's skin and flesh peel away and reconstruct.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.
This Effect ends if you take an Injury or are stunned or incapacitated.
The user chooses to use the bead, then squeezes the pearl.
- If the pearl is not consumed, it cracks.
- If the pearl is consumed, the pearl shatters and turns to dust (that can be picked up, though it's just mundane brass).
Use up this bead made of brass (unless you succeed on 1d10, Difficulty 7) and spend 15 minutes. Roll 7 dice at Difficulty 6, dice penalties do not apply.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.
Brioche has learned to modify chef's tool kits to include secret meat compartments, where he can store fresh remains so that scavengers and cops cannot access it. To get to it, he unattaches a snap fastener near the top of the kit, and instead of opening to his knives and spices, it opens to a small refrigerated compartment.
Spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use a chef's toolkit to activate this Effect.

Quincy takes a moment to straighten his appearance and dust himself off - wipe blood from his nose, straighten his clothes, etc. As he does so, he seems to emit a gravity: small objects around him rattle and air rushes into his body as he takes an impossibly deep breath. When he exhales, he's stable again.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
Your Stress from Injuries and Mind Damage is reduced to 0. Lasts three hours.
Sable hugs her toy close to her chest, their heart beats aligning as the stuffed animal morphs into a terrifying cat-like creature (a kot bayun). The once still button eyes are now black beads of malice, and its claws pierce like iron blades. The creature hums melodically, but quietly, as it protects its owner.
(her name is Chamomile)
This Effect activates whenever Sable suffers a Severity 2 or higher injury. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event.

The Thief casts a container's worth of fine powder into the air. The particulates are drawn to any sort of object that is designed to detect people, including tripwires, security cameras, detection lasers, heat sensors, etc. The powder will not trigger these devices or interfere with their operation, but it does reveal their presence to the Thief.
