Description
By reciting an intense prayer, Chamael is able to relive their recent sins, gaining insight into their motivations, desires, and crimes.
System
Exert your Mind, target an individual within 20 feet and spend 1 Minute examining them. At the end of the cast time, make a roll, determined at Power creation. The quality of the information you receive depends on your outcome, and the nature of the information depends on the Enhancements you have chosen.
The number of Enhancements attached to this power must not exceed [[maximum-enhancements]].
Enhancements
- Concealed (Using this Effect is not obvious. Choose a Tell that occurs only when you use the Effect; if-- and only if-- someone suspects that a Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.)
- Lucifer (You learn a hidden desire of the target.)
- Alien Origin (Determine if this target is Alien in origin or whether it has any Alien energy or outside influences. You receive information about the type of energy, including the name of the relevant Source pool or equivalent.)
Drawbacks
- Mage (Activating this Effect requires two consecutive Actions of Concentration. It involves intricate use of the body and voice. If interrupted during activation, the Effect fails. It is obvious you are preparing to activate an Effect during casting.)
- Traumatic (You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma.)
