Through extensive training with much trial and error, the user becomes a Gunslinger, gaining massive expertise in the use of handguns. If there’s anything you need on your team, it’s a good gunslinger.


You gain the following benefits as long as engaged in combat with Handguns.

+2 dice to all Handguns rolls.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Bullet Parry: You may use a Reaction to Defend against any Melee, thrown, or projectile Attack in range of your Attacks.
  • Quick Fingers: Drawing your weapon is a Free Action as long as it is on your person. You may reload or swap ammo as a Free Action.


Community Firearm Mastery Gifts

You gain the following benefits as long as engaged in combat with rifle.

+2 dice to all rifle rolls.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Bullet Parry: You may Defend against any attack in your firearm’s range using your firearm. Defending this way still costs a Reaction.
  • Point Control: Called Shots that you attempt only require a Contested Outcome of 2 for small targets and 4 for tiny targets.
  • Curve the Bullet: You suffer no penalties for attacking targets behind cover.
  • Fastest Gun In The West: Any time you engage in a Clash with your firearm, the opponent's Outcome is zero. Defending against your firearms is +2 Difficulty.
  • Quick Fingers: Drawing your weapon is a Free Action as long as it is on your person. You may reload or swap ammo as a Free Action.

  • Reminder: Bonus Damage stacks with Weapon Damage, but does not stack with any other Bonus Damage. Instead, the highest Bonus Damage is used.

The gun is just a regular gun. Krick just happens to be really lucky. He doesn't know how to use it, hence why he can't do it with other guns.

Your attacks with Submachine Gun deal +2 Bonus Damage. Armor is fully effective against this damage.

  • Swift Shooter: You may move your full Dash distance and make an attack without a movement penalty in the same Round of combat.

  • Reminder: Bonus Damage stacks with Weapon Damage, but does not stack with any other Bonus Damage. Instead, the highest Bonus Damage is used.

You gain the following benefits as long as engaged in combat with firearms.

Your attacks with firearms deal +1 Bonus Damage. Armor is fully effective against this damage.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Quick Fingers: Drawing your weapon is a Free Action as long as it is on your person. You may reload as a Free Action.
  • Swift Shooter: You may move your full sprint distance and make an attack without a movement penalty in the same Round of combat.

  • Reminder: Bonus Damage stacks with Weapon Damage, but does not stack with any other Bonus Damage. Instead, the highest Bonus Damage is used.

Uses INT+RND instead of INT+Tech

Spend an Action. Select a target within 50 feet. Roll Intellect + Technology Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.

If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 2.

You may use this Effect to Defend against any melee, projectile, or firearm Attacks within range or Clash against any Attack targeted at you. Using it to Defend deals no Damage but does not cost Exertion.

You may opt to have this Effect spread to all targets within 5 feet of the initial target, then to all unaffected targets within 5 feet of them, and so on, jumping a maximum of 5 times. No target may be hit more than once. You cannot hit yourself.

This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.

Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Missing Lung.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of Effect. There must be no substantial obstructions between you and your target.

Over a decade of practicing withing the French Foreign Legion will teach you how to use just about any modern firearm. However, the investigator has a knack for slower firing weapons, preferring to take aim for each shot, make a precise calculation for each bullet, rather than shooting in bursts or using full auto. Years of practice in the countryside with bolt action rifles, pistols and double-barrelled shotguns can help build up uncanny levels of hand-eye coordination.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Quick Fingers: Drawing your weapon is a Free Action as long as it is on your person. You may reload or swap ammo as a Free Action.

This Artifact can be used as a rifle. It is roughly the same size as a rifle but can be collapsed into a metallic disk and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.

Attack by rolling Dexterity + Firearms, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +5 Weapon Damage.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Silencer: The report of any shots you fire may be made silent at will.

  • If there is not enough free space to expand the object, it cannot be expanded. You cannot expand this Object as an attack.
  • Reminder: additional Weapon Damage granted by this Effect does not stack with any other bonus to Weapon Damage. Instead the largest bonus is used.
  • Rifles are +1 Difficulty to use in melee range. Sniper Rifles are +3 Difficulty to use without a tripod or in melee range. Setting up a tripod takes an Action.
