The vampire/dhampir has a face people want to trust, thinks belongs in every social situation, and is always in need of defending.

Whenever they are in a group, people automatically treat them differently, but when they think they are alone or one-on-one, the façade drops.

You gain the following benefits as long as around two or more people they are aware of.

Your Charisma rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Charisma (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Low Self-Esteem (When an exceptional character or other Contractor who is similar to this Contractor has an advantage over the Contractor in any noticeable way, roll Self-Control to keep from having to doing anything they ask or might impress them in anyway. This focuses on one particular character per Contract or Downtime).

You also gain the following effects:

  • Party Animal: You are welcome at, and will be granted entrance to, any social gathering or party, at least as an observer.
  • Poker Face: You reveal only what you want to reveal. It is impossible to determine whether or not you are lying. You may roll Charisma + Performance to resist any investigative Effect that targets you. If you successfully resist, you determine the info they get.

  • A "social gathering" might include a birthday party, after-work drinks, a ski trip, or yoga in the park, among other things. It likely would not include a cult gathering to summon a demon, Congressional negotiations over a contentious bill, etc.
  • In rare cases, GMs may require you to make a roll to lie to particularly powerful beings.
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

  • On its own, your empath abilities do not allow you to detect lies.
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

Allena is, often times, a crass and spiteful individual. The biggest exception being when she's trying to get something out of someone at which point she becomes soft and kind, she knows too well how to appeal to people. She just often doesn't care enough to do so, to her the truth of the matter is is that she doesn't feel the same things people do, the joy, the love, the hate. To her it's a cold breeze passing by, this... apathy is also the cause of her shadow's manifestation, it is the emptiness in her heart given form.
