The vampire/dhampir has a face people want to trust, thinks belongs in every social situation, and is always in need of defending.

Whenever they are in a group, people automatically treat them differently, but when they think they are alone or one-on-one, the façade drops.

You gain the following benefits as long as around two or more people they are aware of.

Your Charisma rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Charisma (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Low Self-Esteem (When an exceptional character or other Contractor who is similar to this Contractor has an advantage over the Contractor in any noticeable way, roll Self-Control to keep from having to doing anything they ask or might impress them in anyway. This focuses on one particular character per Contract or Downtime).

You also gain the following effects:

  • Party Animal: You are welcome at, and will be granted entrance to, any social gathering or party, at least as an observer.
  • Poker Face: You reveal only what you want to reveal. It is impossible to determine whether or not you are lying. You may roll Charisma + Performance to resist any investigative Effect that targets you. If you successfully resist, you determine the info they get.

  • A "social gathering" might include a birthday party, after-work drinks, a ski trip, or yoga in the park, among other things. It likely would not include a cult gathering to summon a demon, Congressional negotiations over a contentious bill, etc.
  • In rare cases, GMs may require you to make a roll to lie to particularly powerful beings.
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

Community Mythic Charisma Gifts

You gain the following benefits at all times.

Your Charisma rating is increased by 0. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Charisma (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

You also gain the following effects:

  • No Choice But To Stan: If someone speaks or acts against you socially, anyone observing it must roll Mind, with the difficulty equal to your Charisma, in order to not defend you.

  • Being forced to Stan will not force someone to violate any of their Limits or to engage in violence of any kind (though they may still do so of their own volition).
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

You gain the following benefits as long as you have your piercing golden eyes.

Your Charisma rating is increased by 0. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Charisma (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Like Ants - You are entirely face-blind. Whenever a human changes their clothes or appearance since the last time you saw them, you must make a Mind roll (difficulty 8) to recognise them. This difficulty may be reduced if they retain any especially distinguishing features.

If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Anime: You may have a 30 second conversation with another character on your initiative each Round in Combat, and using any Communication Effect takes a Free Action instead of a full Action.
  • Honest Eyes: Your word is accepted as honest so long as you are speaking the truth as you understand it. You can always tell if someone telling a lie without making a roll, though you may not know what they are concealing
  • Me, an Empath: You have an intuitive understanding of the emotional state of any Animate being within 30 feet. Once per person per day you may roll Charisma + Influence to learn what things they respect or disrespect in others.

  • On its own, your empath abilities do not allow you to detect lies.
  • If your piercing golden eyes is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months.
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

  • Life-Changing Conversation: Speak to a target for 10 minutes, Exert your Mind, and roll Charisma + Influence, Difficulty of the target’s Mind score. If you achieve a complete success, you may suppress one of their Limits or add a new Limit. Lasts two months
