As Lucian, the vegan vampire, stands in the cool nighttime breeze, he takes a moment to embrace the darkness and open his heightened senses to the world around him. His keen vampire senses enable him to perceive details that elude ordinary humans.

With his supernatural olfactory senses, Lucian can detect the subtlest scents in the air. He inhales deeply, letting the myriad aromas flow through him. His nose twitches slightly as he distinguishes the scent of humans nearby, their individual nuances and the unique composition of their blood calling out to him.

Lucian's ethically driven nature means he won't harm humans, but he can still appreciate the complexity of their scents and the richness of their life forces. In this moment, he doesn't feast, but rather, he relishes the connection to the living world, a world he navigates with a sense of responsibility and compassion.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. This Effect cannot be used unless must have drank blood in the last 12 hours and must not be in direct sunlight.

You automatically detect all Creatures, Undead, and Humans and Animate beings with flowing blood within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

If no Creatures, Undead, and Humans or Animate beings with flowing blood targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Can not enter a domestic house without someone inside inviting him in without succeeding on a self-control roll.

  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action.

You automatically detect all undead within 50 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

If no undead targets are within 50 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

While this Effect is active, you are at -2 dice to all Actions and cannot Concentrate.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use big stick to activate this Effect. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.

You automatically detect all injured Animate beings (Saverity 3 or higher total) within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

If no injured Animate beings (Saverity 3 or higher total) targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. This Effect cannot be used unless Night. You must actively and obviously use bracelet to activate this Effect.

You automatically detect all Vampires within 50 feet of you for the next minute. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby and their direction, and you have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected beings. This information is accurate enough to use for aiming at them, at +1 Difficulty.

Even while this Effect is not active, if any Vampires come within 50 feet of you, you may roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 7 to detect them.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

Your senses are enhanced in the following way.

  • Electroreception: You may detect electromagnetic fields, electric currents, and even neurological activity in a 25 foot radius from yourself at all times. When detecting neurological activity, you learn nothing but the creature's rough size.
  • Thermal: You are able to "see" heat signatures up to 50 feet away.

  • When you are within 25 feet of range, your electroreception sense is sufficient for aiming.
  • Your thermal vision allows you to judge temperatures of surfaces fairly accurately as long as they are within livable temperatures.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Consumes a mind effecting substance and says "Here piggy piggy". You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

You automatically detect the closest of any Law Enforcement within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense their direction and distance.

If no Law Enforcement targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.
