Description

Shizuko dilates time in your body and causes you to age rapidly.

System

Exert your Mind, choose a Living target within Arm's Reach, and roll Intellect + Alertness Difficulty 6 as a Committed Action, which the target can contest by rolling to dodge or Defend (as for an attack with a thrown weapon) as a Reaction. If you succeed, the target is aged by Outcome in years.

If target is human and aged beyond 40 they must roll Brawn difficulty (age/10 rounded down). If they fail, they lose Attribute point from either Perception, Brawn, or Dexterity (chosen randomly). Botches subtract additional Attributes. In the event that they are aged more than 10 years, they must make one such roll for each decade. Reducing any Attribute to 0 causes death (A Perception of 0 causes an indefinite coma).

Drawbacks

  • Exhausting (After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.)
