This Artifact allows you to detect all nearby lycanthropes, Undead, Aliens, and Mythical Beasts and Fay.

( You must obviously use this Artifact to activate this Effect. When activating this Effect, this Artifact is obviously Alien and cannot be concealed under your clothes or similar.)

In response to the call for aid, the Rusalka speaks in an unknown tongue with an almost songlike voice. The words written in the book form a detailed summary of all targets in range. The words shift and change to give updated information.

A Rusalka is a Female water spirit. Often associated with young women, who either committed suicide by drowning due to an unhappy marriage or who were violently drowned against their will (especially after becoming pregnant with unwanted children).

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: asking the illusionary Rusalka "oh mother to be tell me what lost children you see" while writng the response in the book of Grim. This Effect cannot be used unless A illusionary Rusalka must be present. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma.

You automatically detect all lycanthropes, Undead, Aliens, and Mythical Beasts and Fay within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

This Effect activates whenever someone you've met before is within 200 meters of you. It does not require an Action or Exertion. “Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event. Roll a single d10, Difficulty 4. If you fail or botch, the Effect fails and you cannot activate it again for an hour.

You automatically detect the closest of any ________ within 50 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense their direction and distance.

You receive aura for each being you detect.

  • When triggered, the Effect activation resolves immediately after the triggering Action. It is not Reaction speed.
  • If this Effect fails due to the Unreliable check, you must still pay any associated activation costs.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use a crucifix to activate this Effect.

You automatically detect all Demonic entities within 50 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

Even if there are no Demonic entities within 50 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. This Effect cannot be used unless you are unconscious.

You automatically detect all faye within 50 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

If no faye targets are within 50 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

Even if there are no faye within 50 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

All faye who you can sense are equally able to sense you.

  • This Effect does not satisfy the line of sight targeting requirement for other Effects.

You must actively and obviously use Alcohol Bottle to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

You automatically detect the closest of any Undead within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense their direction and distance.

If no Undead targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

Even if there are no Undead within 300 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.
