Description

Conner lifts his head to the sky and lets out a roar "Aha ha aha ha Welcome to the Jungle...." there comes a chorus of shrieks as birds erupt from the trees around him swirling and dancing around him. "Welcome to my jungle."

System

Exert your Mind and spend a round issuing a command to a Creature. This command can be issued from 300 feet, but you must have some means of knowing where the Creature is and/or communicating the command to it. Your command cannot be beyond their intellectual grasp, it cannot obviously endanger them. Duration depends on the command, but is generally not longer than a day.

Subsequent commands to the same Creature within an hour do not cost Exertion.


Enhancements

  • Concealed (Using this Effect is not obvious. Choose a Tell that occurs only when you use the Effect; if-- and only if-- someone suspects that a Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.)
    • Tell - Sings opening to welcome to the Jungle

  • Word of Power (Can command supernatural beasts and sentient animals with a contested roll.)
    • Roll - Brawn + Athletics

  • Bark of Dominance (Your commands can be issued to all Creatures of a chosen species within earshot)
  • Lemmings (Your commands can be self-endangering.)

Drawbacks

  • Exhausting (After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.)
  • Focus (Using this Effect requires a specific kind of item.)
  • Unique Focus (This Power takes the form of a specific, unique item, which can be borrowed, lost, or stolen. You must use / wear this item as intended to use this Power.)
    • Focus - Metal ring on a chain around his neck
  • Traumatic (You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma.)
  • Sacrifice (Instead of Exerting your Mind or expending Source, activating this Effect gives a Severity-1 Injury that worsens by 1 Severity each time you use an Effect with Sacrifice. This Injury cannot be prevented by any means or healed before 1 day has passed.)
