A 1 Gift Destroy Object Power used by Harry Davis, created by therustyy257.

Description

After completing his most recent job Harry stuck around for a while, chatting with the harbinger.
He had a request - an item that could get his friend out of peril, a device capable of destroying other objects, and leaving nothing behind.
Without skipping a beat the harbinger produced a small silver ring with deep and beautiful patterned engravings carefully carved into its sides.

System

Exert your Mind, target a Non-Sapient Object no larger than a purse (5 liters) within Arm's Reach, and roll Perception + Investigation Difficulty 6 as a Committed Action. If your Outcome is 4 or higher, the object is completely destroyed, preventing it from functioning, though it may still be repaired. An outcome below 4 partially damages the object, imposing a dice penalty equal to your Outcome on any attempts to use it. Outcomes from disabling something more than once stack.


Enhancements

  • Sabotage (Instead of breaking immediately, the targeted item is sabotaged. Select a condition. The target appears functional until the next time the condition is met, at which point the Effect occurs.)
  • Concealed (Using this Effect is not obvious. Choose a Tell that occurs only when you use the Effect; if-- and only if-- someone suspects that a Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.)
    • Tell - A dull blue glow out of the engravings, with semi translucent tendrils reaching out towards the object

  • Disintegrate (If your Outcome is 4 or greater, the object is fully and completely destroyed: it leaves behind no meaningful remains, and cannot be repaired.)
  • Luddite (You can now destroy Constructs, as well as Sapient Items. Any Sapient targets may roll Mind at difficulty 8 to resist.)

Drawbacks

  • Exhausting (After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.)
  • Focus (Using this Effect requires a specific kind of item.)

  • Unique Focus (This Power takes the form of a specific, unique item, which can be borrowed, lost, or stolen. You must use / wear this item as intended to use this Power.)
