Description

Jethro holds a glass marble between him and his target. Jethro's metabolism temporarily shuts down and his target is marked with an imperceptible snowflake shaped cold spot on the back of their neck. While the mark lasts Jethro know the location of his target.

System

Exert your Mind and spend an Action placing your mark on a target within 20 feet. As long as the mark is active, you know the direction and distance of the mark. A Mark lasts until destroyed, replaced, or you choose to end it.

You can have 1 marks active at a time.

The mark looks like A cold spot on the back of the targets neck (detectable only with precise IR or thermal imaging). It can be intuitively removed if discovered, but removing it will inflict a Severity 1 Injury.


Enhancements

  • Stealthy Mark (Your mark is difficult or impossible to detect through mundane means.)
  • Target Lock (You receive +2 dice to any rolls made against a marked target.)

Drawbacks

  • Exhausting (After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.)
  • Focus (Using this Effect requires a specific kind of item.)

  • Sacrifice (Instead of Exerting your Mind or expending Source, activating this Effect gives a Severity-1 Injury that worsens by 1 Severity each time you use an Effect with Sacrifice. This Injury cannot be prevented by any means or healed before 1 day has passed.)
