Description

A Tentacle comes out of any hole of the caster.

System

Spend an Action, Exert your Mind, choose a target within 45 feet, and roll Brawn + Culture Difficulty 6. The target may defend by rolling to dodge or Defend (as for an attack with a thrown weapon) as a Reaction.

Damage dealt equals the difference between your attack roll's Outcome and the defensive roll's (if one was made), plus 3.The target's Armor is Reduced to 1/2, rounded up.

Enhancements

  • Beam-o-war (You may use this Effect to Defend against any melee, projectile, or firearm Attacks within range or Clash against any Attack targeted at you. Using it to Defend deals no Damage but does not cost Exertion.)
  • Cantrip (Activating this Effect has no Exertion cost, but it can have no more than 3 Drawbacks and its Gift Cost can never be increased above 2.)

Drawbacks

  • Monstrous (Possessing this Power causes a mutation that elicits a strong, negative social response from the average person in your setting. The mutation is visible even if you are wearing long sleeves, pants, and shoes. Maximum one per Contractor.)
    • Mutation - tongue is a tentacle
  • Fuel (Using this Effect consumes some material good in addition to its other costs.)
    • Fuel Unit - Access to Blood
