Description
Viper presses the paper against the item and cuts their hand to complete the sigils in their own blood, as the lead and inks from their utensils run up their skin and saturate the paper, before it dissolves completely into the item, leaving only an easily wipeable smudge. To onlookers, this is where the magic ends, but to Viper, a series of shifting blueprints surround the object, highlighting the specifics of use, and any supernatural forces that may intertwine with their own abilities as they probe the object
System
Exert your Mind, target an Object within Arm's Reach and spend 1 Minute examining it. At the end of the cast time, roll Perception + Investigation Difficulty 6. The quality of the information you receive depends on your outcome, and the nature of the information depends on the Enhancements you have chosen.
The number of information-revealing Enhancements attached to this power is limited to 2 for Novice Contractors, 4 for Seasoned Contractors, and 7 for Veteran Contractors. You may still take any number of other, non-informational Enhancements.
