Entry 2 - Employment

"Yes sir, that's right," Booh says as the video begins. He's in a room, very dark with the windows covered. Light from the daytime sun barely streams through the corners of the black-out curtains. He continues, pointing a camera at himself from his desk. He looks down, then closes his right eye, speaking into a phone between his check and shoulder while writing on a desk with his free hand. "About a terabyte of raw footage and couple hundred megs of high quality images... It was around the afternoon of the second day that I started filming. In the hotel... All due respect, sir, I'm not so much interested in talking about my reasons for being in the park, I'd rather get down to business here... Yeah... No, these are not anonymous. I've got a history as a war photographer, and this fits my portfolio... Then I'll go to someone else who wants them more," he says, beginning to reach to hang up the phone before the tinny voice on the other side calls to be heard again.

Booh brings the phone back up to his ear and listens a little longer. His face goes from annoyance to simmering impatience. "So paying me in exposure, basically. Care to point me to the nearest Exposure Grocer?..." His face softens a bit as the other voice continues. "Okay... That's a bit more of a fair rate, especially with the benefits you're offering... You've seen my work, I can get more... Yes... Travel expenses, food, lodging would be a great help... With royalties, yeah? Alright... Yeah, put in a good word for me with them too. I'll be in touch... Alright, have a nice afternoon."

Booh hangs up the phone before looking back toward the camera. "Fuck yeah," he says, smiling wide and nodding his head suddenly, before he winces and puts his palm to his eye. "Ain't exactly got a doctor for this shit. Go to the phone repair shop or some shit?" He scoffs before popping a Motrin. "I'll be happy to get these images outta my fuckin' head anyway. Nightmares've been fucked all week. Don't we all love change."

He lazily points toward the camera, "Catch ya," he mumbles before groaning again and putting his hand over his eyes once more. The video cuts to black.
