As I sit in my garden, looking out into the trees as I sip my tea I can't help but reflect on those recent events. I am a contractor now, I completed my first contract and my first step to glory has begun. All that had come at cost of minor inconvience and pain in the form of migranes. No matter they could be dealt with later.
In the mean time I shall enjoy the serenity of my home, the simple pleasures of Tea whilst observing nature. I supsect once I'm done I'll be able to enjoy these sights often but when the true works begin there will be no time for rest. I must dedicate myself to achieving my goal and only then will I be able to rest.
I took another sip of my tea, empting the remaining liquid only to taste the gritty remenants of tea leaves that had escaped the filter. The fact that such small things could cause great irritation wasn't lost to me. In my path to the top I couldn't afford to ignore even the most pathetic of threat. Lifting the cup I looked at the leaves within, for a moment some other worldly rage took me as I smashed the vessel against the ground.
Standing I headed to my workshop. There was so much to do, my time of idleness is over. The winds of destiny are blowing and must harness them for my own.
