Since we're heading to Tibet to climb Mount Everst I did my research to buy the gear I needed to make the journey. Off we went. We met up with a few of Joe's other friends before heading to the base camp. There were three others and the guide. These were people that Joe had met on a previous job. There was Sally, a frumpy middle aged woman wearing a crown of dried flowers (definietly needs a make-over) and two guys, Jared and Matt, that were just kind of there. 

   Once we reached base camp, we proceeded to set up camp. Joe told us all what we needed to pack for the upcoming hike up to the summit. Spirits in camp seem high, I organize my pack and when I finish I check out the local scenary. Even though my parents were born in Russia, I've never been to this part of the world. It really is quite beautiful. Once everyone has packed up and rested, we head for the summit.

   We've been hiking for several hours at this point. The terrain and quickly thinning air are becoming a problem. Joe and Squirrel seem to be having some problems, and Joey seems fine. That bastard! I really don't like him. I however start getting fuzzy and hurl into the snowbanks. After that I feel much better, for a minute anyway. That's when things start going black.

   The next thing I know I'm waking up in the back of ambulance. I don't know how long I've been out, but I'm not in Tibet anymore. The doors open and I see a guy dressed like he walked out of '70's disco. "Hello Ana, I have a job for you.

   It's been two weeks since I was released from the hospital. It only took a couple days to completely flush the poison from my system, but I needed a fair amount of bed rest to be at 100%. Finally time to get back home. The show must go on! I need to open at least a few nights our I'll lose my fan base and that's never good! After some argumentative conversations with my manager I was able to book a couple shows at the Excalibur. At least when they weren't running the Tournament of Kings. Luckily my skills as a stage magician are still top notch, and why wouldn't they be? Full house every night! I've even learned a new spell.

   Training myself, as I've learned to do after these jobs, I can now create a magical barrier to protect myself from harm. This will definitely come in handy on future jobs.
