its now been a good couple of weeks after that russia job. i wanna say what, 3 weeks? just about a month has passed.
i really overestimated how healed that leg injury was. got my story together about exactly what happened to me before i took myself to the hospital and got everything checked up on. even if it didnt have a risk of being infected, it still wasnt healing as healthily as it couldve been. all of that is professionally dealt with now, thank god. i now have to walk with crutches, which i guess beats hopping around everywhere. but it also means ill most likely be a real liability for my next contract. who knows, maybe i can earn enough money for some sorta prosthetic soon. hopefully. 
as for self defense, ive been going to a shooting range nearby. got my license to carry and invested in a glock. i was never a huge fan of guns, but after alexi, im gonna need something to defend myself. especially if i dont have great footing on the ground for any close quarters combat. fuck. pun unintended. 
as for mentally ive been doing actually pretty alright. this training stuff is making me more confident in my capabilities. i can crack into pretty much any system i get my hands on. been using the computers at different libraries around here to fully anonymously look up occult and magical shit on forums. probably gonna use one of these libraries as some sort of hub for all my hacking. im not some paranoid neo type or anything, i dont think somebodys gonna pull up to my front door. i just think it would be a bit safer. i dont know who watches these contracts get done. or who could in the future. fuck. i need that footage from alexis cameras. oh well. i think thats it for now.
