Defense mode

I barely survived the last encounter again, but while I was chilling and watching some anime, I got an idea on how to use the sparks of power I could feel inside me and make better use of animal form: You know how in some movies or series or comics or whatever there are those martial arts masters who basically can deflect anything, be it fist or bullet? Well, I tried and tested (as good as possible at least, not really guns or similar on Galapagos) and after a few days of training I was able to harness the energy in animal form. Of course I don't have hands to do the deflecting, but apparently the concepts all the same, be it arms, wings or horns. Once you manage to grasp the core concept of energy flow, you can reroute it no matter what your limbs are. Just had to perfect it and I may have a way to defend even as a small bird!

Light 'em up!

After the last mission, I basically just went back to the hostel. It's cheap, I've got money and I've started like travel blogging, makes some ad money on the side. I like Thailand and I also really appreciate Indochinese tigers. Although I'm not too sure whether I should try some more animals, there might very well be some more fitting ones, but a tiger is really good for both stealth and combat, less so for normality.
It also seems like I got Inti's favor? Or maybe the earrings absorbed some leftover power, I'm really not sure, but in any case they definitely have a very fitting power now: something like a luminescent form, my whole body glowing and like spotlight eyes, but only as long as I'm stressed out. And as long as that's happening, my stress seems to be a lot less impactful on my ability to properly do things, also very easy to carry heavy things now.

São Paulo here I come

After the last contract I realised it was time to somehow do something against my scars, so I tried networking a bit. First person I asked was a jackpot immediately: Cássio Rosário. He apparently just developed some magical ability to remove scars so we met up in São Paulo where he resides. He showed me the city and we had a few nice days. It's really liberating to finally be able to use my voice again, his shadow needles work really well. The world sounds so much more alive now as well. I gave him three peas for his work, hope he uses them well. It's nice to be back in South America. A hostel was quickly found and I managed to arrange an appointment with the Instituto Onça-Pintada to do some odd jobs for them and more importantly get to touch a jaguar before my next contract. I'm really starting to like big cats as a transformation.
Also got a new ability through the earrings (I can now wear on both sides again): creating a minime that can scout in my stead. So yeah, Brazil's nice and I even met up with an old acquaintance, life's good!
