After arriving back home that week all my flights towards clients were postponed. Partially for recuperation that was not a lie however there was a gift. A power I could only dream of achieving. To speak with the dead, I have invested most of my saving, traveled the world for clues, at times fearing it would be impossible. How it’s clear it is not a fantasy. It’s not perfect as the spirit of the dead must be present. Oddly enough most of the ghosts in the Copan ruins have moved on apparently. To be more precise, most of the religious cast at least. Since I cant force the ghosts to speak to me its been a slow process to charm them. This is not the case for those who are recently dead. As I pass by the wont stop talking to me. Begging me for random help.

Day 4 of having powers and my sister figured out I had powers or was on drugs. Could not deceive her as she is a fan of Cryptoleak. My teeth and pupils becoming black jade or obsidian black every time a ghost spoke to me did not help. On the bright side she noticed the power has two forms. When I’m ignoring the ghost my teeth and eyes become dark. If the spirit and I agree to talk to each other then my eyes glow a green jade color. Since it seems like closing my eyes and mouth can hide this side effect might need to where contacts and a medical mask if around restless souls.

After finishing the mission, I had a short time before heading back home. Feeling guilty about the officer at the hospital, my best option was sending her flowers with a “Get well soon card”. Once back home took some alone time to recover from the stress by heading to the northern beaches of Honduras as the Atlantic Ocean beaches help heal the soul faster. Got more experience using the stone that was given in the mission prior to this one. Maybe it will be useful in the future. There are some shortcomings I’m starting to work on. Using guns and a weak body could be the end for me in the future. Started taking some classes at the gym and the gun range. It’s too soon to see any improvements but it’s dedication that assures progress. My sister is still worried my lifestyle seems to keep me under high stress and it is getting harder to convince her its all under control.
