A good book
I managed to shake down a few other prisoners for information on this Occult business. The concepts and theories are fascinating, with talk of outer realms and souls. it's giving me a lot more to think about, like truly unknowable fears and monsters. Things that could drive an old man to Madness or worse. it's a pillar of fear that I hadn't fully realized yet.
"If God is benevolent and almighty, why should there be so much suffering in the world?" is a quote I especially enjoy. As it's a question I have the answer to. Balance, there is no good without evil, safety without danger or God without the Devil. in essence there can be no Heroes without Villains, and so the world spins, people die, people are born, heroes save the day and villains aspire to ruin it. That's how it's been and how it'll always be. Amen

No more books
Well there's good news and bad news.
Good news Connor won't be running his big mouth about my reading preferences anymore. I got word from some of the inmates that Connor was talking behind my back about the books I've been reading. Books about the dark magics of this world that I seem to have only scratched the surface of. he was trying to claim that I was crazy for believing in Witchcraft and Voodoo. But he hasn't seen what I've seen he hasn't read The Secret Teachings of All Ages, The Book of Shadows or, The Pineal Gland: The Eye of God!
Bad news the guards apprehended me while I was giving Connor an in-depth lesson in the Occult. I don't know if it was the forcing a book down Connors throat, or the incantations that I was attempting. But I got 3 months of solitary and I'm not allowed to any more books.

OWL - The Occult Wildlife Landing
The Occult Wildlife Landing (OWL) is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the rights of supernatural creatures to live a life unmolested by humanity’s relentless spread and greed.
While OWL has become the de-facto head of the conservationist movement in the United States, many claim it’s not as innocent as it appears. A number of small, seemingly-disconnected terrorist cells wear the OWL insignia with pride. These groups– which tend to contain a disproportionate number of supernatural creatures and beings– commit high-profile acts of public violence with the intent of furthering OWL’s core objectives. In the past, they’ve blown up oil pipelines, stopped development projects, and even infected congregations of people with mutagenic viruses.
OWL denies any involvement with these so-called “OWL-inspired terrorist organizations” (or OITOs for short). However, many people conflate the two and consider OWL itself to be a terrorist organization.
One thing is for certain: when OWL sends a blast to its followers urging protest, they’re taken seriously.
