A friend for life

Today I visited Neil's workshop to get my potion. it was the sequence 9 potion called the seer potion. He seemed like a jolly fellow and it turned out we had a shared interest in liquor. After consuming the potion I experienced some sort of vision, calling me towards something in the Hornacis mountain range on top of witnessing some sort of castle shrouded in fog. I'm not sure what to make of this visions but I decided once I recovered to take Neil out to drink, encountering a flirtatious diviner who we decided to jokingly have read our fortunes through tarot cards. I received the Empress, Magician, Hermit, and reversed Fool card. Meanwhile when Neil drew his cards they seemed more ominous, being the hanged man, reverse temperance, and the tower. We laughed it off before drinking the night away, days later I decided to approach him to teach me more divination and ritual methods which seemed to work and I even divined that I would find a soli and 2 pence. However I overexerted myself trying to jokingly figure out if the captain and miss Daly would finally confess to each other, sadly despite my wishes and the wishes of someone else (the lady?) my divination didn't work properly.

Experiencing Therapy

After my latest nightmare I received a curious letter from my coworker Frederick. He suggested meeting at a bar for drinks after I saved his life on our last job, to which I was more than happy to do to clear my mind of the events of that mission. After we sat down and received our orders, Frederick explained his real goal for inviting me to his home to see a therapist. I was surprised that a genuine therapist was in Tingen but I covered up my shock and pretended I never knew what they were. Afterwards I was in for a small surprise, the supposed scholar that Frederick claimed to be in reality was a nobleman, though his mannerisms weren't that hidden. He had quite the sizeable manor suggesting he was a rather wealthy noble though it paled in comparison to where I used to stay... though it is still quite nice and had a warmth home lacked for me. After meeting the therapist, a young lady who seemed to be in her teens, she guided me to a couch to lay on and explain all the regrets and trauma in my heart, and I drifted off into a dream. I remember being lost at sea, needing to swim to a distant island shore as the waves crashed around me, I made steady pace but I eventually woke up after making a bit of progress. Afterwards she told me that the rest was up to me and I left feeling a sense of refreshment that I haven't had in a long time.
