Attributes Renamed
In a world where all the coolest games are having people rolling stats like “Hard” and “Weird” and “Cool” (which is distinct from “Charm”, thank you), The Contract’s traditional approach to Attributes feels woefully dated.
In this patch, we’re taking our first steps towards becoming a true, modern game by renaming our core attributes to be much more abstract.
Brawn -> Kickass
Charisma -> Rizz
Dexterity -> Ninja
Intellect -> Brains
Perception -> Sharp
Next week we’ll be experimenting with new systems that make character death a consensual process, and we’ll be removing all Errata from the Gift system, as they have served mostly to limit Player creativity and combo-crafting. Stay tuned!
